This thing is so cool, you people have the neatest stuff; we don't have these at home! And it gives me my voice back! Sort of. Mostly? I have a couple of hours before... Well, I have a couple of hours before sunset and I want to see everything before I have to go. What should I do? Where should I go? What is there to see? I mean, besides everything, obviously. I don't have a lot of time so I need some specifics. I want to make this deal worth it...

So, I'm pretty sure I've gotta head out to Indiana and see if I can find any leads or any trace at all of Lisa - Ben's mom. Just a heads-up, I'll probably be gone about a week if I can't find anything... maybe longer, if I do, depending on what it is and how hard it is to deal with.

I can't take Ben out there - not if whatever got her could still be around, or if finding her... doesn't end pretty. I'm hoping whatever happened, she's still alive, but, yeah. I don't know.

So, anyone want to watch him 'till I get back? He shouldn't be much trouble, he's a good kid. Just needs someone to keep an eye on him, keep him eating and sleeping and stuff, and make sure he doesn't get too worried about his mom. I mean, worrying is normal, just... you know what I mean.

...and if anyone wants to come with me, I could use another set of hands/eyes on this. Just... it might be dangerous.

So what do you think of starting a book club? They were getting popular in my day, little clubs where women around our age with families, mostly, got together on a bi-weekly basis for a break from all that to discuss a book they had all read. I have the feeling that both of us could use the break, and there have to be some other people who would enjoy it. Maybe Darcy, the woman having twins? She'll need time with adults and away from diapers pretty soon, as I'm sure you remember.

What do you say? Any other ideas on who to invite?

Hi Lawrence, you hardly knew me and then I disappeared, apparently just in time for some crazy stuff to happen. My sister had a baby recently so I went back home for a while to help her out, and then sort of accidentally ended up a drug mule, which, I had no idea "organic hemp business" meant that and he had really great eyes so whatever you would have fallen for it too okay? got a little sidetracked on my way back.
