It was only human after all to be told what the solution was and to still have to check it out anyway. Sure enough he felt the fabric and just as Eidothea said, it wasn't coming off until it decided to. "So whatever's got us put us on an equal playing field. Great," Raylan murmured.

"I hate to say it but not knowing how big this place is while we're unable to see anything, some version of that game is a decent idea for making sure we stay close to each other in case something else is in here." Not that he was aware of anything else but they knew next to nothing about where they were.

That something might be watching them sent a chill down his spine.

"Equal if you rely on your vision a great deal," Eidothea offered. Her own could see through people, planes of existence, but here it was just-- dark. Normally a blindfold would be no bother, but the magic of Vallo had always been robust and beyond what most of them were able to harness.

She didn't stop the laugh that escaped when the game started up, though, and decided to play into it just to see what happened. "It isn't a bad idea. What do you say back, the other part? Polo?" She moved a little further, taking steps that were measured and careful to not fall into something or trip over her own feet while she couldn't see. She waited until she was several steps in before calling out again with arms outstretched. "Marco Polo? Am I even doing this right? Humans have strange games."

"Close," Klaus called back encouragingly. "You should say 'Marco' and then Raylan and I will repeat back 'Polo' to keep track of where we are. And then if we find anything or like start falling into a pit or something attacks us we should scream so everyone knows it's not a good thing we've found. Or if someone doesn't shout back Polo because they were silently assassinated, at least we'll know."

"I rely on it enough." At least they weren't limited to it with other senses to reach out with. Raylan snorted softly. "Dark as the grave. It's kind of funny considering the circumstances." The three of them with their connections to the dead and this was the first situation they came across.

He started to move in a direction, hands out, stretching for something solid to get an idea of how large a space they were in. "Assassinations are politically motivated so it would probably just be murder."
