To say the day had started oddly was an understatement, but Klaus was familiar enough with strange encounters that he'd merely introduced himself to his new companions (neither of whom he had met previously) before immediately searching the room for cigarettes. Coming up empty, he was rather disappointed.

"I just need something to take the edge off," he offered casually, but whatever weirdness was happening was providing none of his usual creature comforts. When the door leading out of the room opened on its own, he found that curious, but found himself walking through it anyway.

And suddenly, he could no longer see anything, not even his hand as he waved it in front of his face. "I'm BLIND," he declared dramatically before giving up and sitting down on the ground with a sigh. He wasn't going to find anything now.
