I thought I might miss the island more than I do, but I have to admit this setting is much nicer this time of year. I'm thinking of trying out one of the paddleboats.

It seems I also have a new friend.

Seems the local college was a bit short on qualified staff. It's not entirely ideal, but it does give me the opportunity to teach again.

So, tomorrow is Valentine's Day.

I haven't experienced a Valentine's Day since I was small. The kids in my neighborhood bought candy and little cards for one another. It was very cute.

However, I don't think that is what adult people typically do on Valentine's Day. There's a lot to celebrate lately. I'm going to take this opportunity to let other people share on my post what they would like to celebrate the most this holiday. If there is big secret about your plans, obviously don't tell those (actually, still tell me those, just quietly), but if we're allowed to know, share.

Seabrook isn't the most exciting place to be, but it is home and --- OMG. ZED IS HERE! YOU CAN ALL MEET ZED! And we're going to PRAWN!

The last thing I remember I was on a beach but it definitely wasn't this beach. That one was about to be blown to bits and this one looks like a playground. Which is better than being blown to bits. I'm Jyn Erso.
