I was supposed to meet Addie this morning for breakfast this morning and she's not here and she's pretty late and that isn't like her at all and I guess I'm just checking in and wondering if anyone has seen her because I can't keep losing people.

He was very cold brrrr but hugs are still good it made him smile. I told him I was sad he was going to go away and he said it was okay because he can't be here when it is summer anyway.

Since we've found ourselves in Santa's Village, all holiday drinks are half off for the week.

So, I had some doubts about that whole tossing things into the fire event. I don't want to brag too much because, hey, I know not everyone had things answered.

But, I was pretty bummed about Yelena and some other things, but then flipping America Chavez came busting through like the champ she is.

I'm genuinely sad that there are others who are missing friends and family because I definitely get it. And it's still forever weird to be in this strange limbo-type of place, but you know what?

I couldn't ask for a better place to be. Having people here who you know have your back no matter what? That's really great. You don't always get that, you know?

ANYWAY -- I found a pack of UNO cards. Who wants to get their butt whooped and sent home crying?

If my calendars are correct and my millenia are in order, I believe there is need for a bit of celebration. Most importantly, a magic show or three!

In honor of Cinco de MAY-o, one of the best days of the year, we're going to get together and honor the best aunt EVER.

(Sorry Uncle Happy, you can have whatever grownup thing you wanted to do with her on Friday or something, idk)

We're closing the restaurant at 5 that day. We'll all meet up at Los Gatitos for Mexican food and adult beverages for those of you old enough to participate! Chips, queso, and guac will also be provided. I am not making anyone do a pinata or anything, but if they want to put a sombrero on her and sing to her in Spanish, who am I to say no??

...also May does not know I'm doing this so if she kills me before the party, please all go celebrate her anyway.

I went ahead and took a position at the high school just because it's what I'm comfortable doing.

But...then I kind of had an idea? And I don't know if it's a ridiculous idea or if there'd even be a need for something like it here but I'll run it by you guys first.

What about a community center type thing? I started thinking about how we didn't have community theater, not even on the Island. More than high school kids like doing things on stage and stuff, right? And we have a sporting goods store but is there even a place where adults can participate in sports?

Is this a completely stupid out of left field idea? Or is this something we as a community might be interested in?

I love spending time with my kids, but not being able to leave Harley's side is a bit much. Do we go to school or work?

I had an old-fashioned toy back home.  I think it was called a jump-it or a skip-it.  It was like a cord, with a loop on one end and a ball on the other.   The loop would go around your ankle and you'd swing your leg and hop over the cord with your other foot.

I've been having dreams that start out with that toy.  Then the toy turns invisible and I can't get it off my foot.   It felt like there's something much bigger than a ball on the other end too.

I think they're shine dreams, the ones that are visions. I'm not sure what they mean yet. Look out for skip-it toys, I guess.
