Mal and I have set a date for our wedding. It's not a lot of notice, but we hope you'll all be able to attend. It's planned for Saturday, October 22nd. Formal invitations will follow, of course, but consider this an informal save the date request from us both.

I completely missed my own birthday, but in my defense, we were in a creepy forest filled with ghouls at the time. 18 honestly hasn't felt much different from 17, anyway.

We're closing the restaurant at 5 that day. We'll all meet up at Los Gatitos for Mexican food and adult beverages for those of you old enough to participate! Chips, queso, and guac will also be provided. I am not making anyone do a pinata or anything, but if they want to put a sombrero on her and sing to her in Spanish, who am I to say no??

...also May does not know I'm doing this so if she kills me before the party, please all go celebrate her anyway.

Please, forgive my manners or entire lack. I have been here for more than a few days now without having introduced myself.

My name is Ben. I come here from The United States of Auradon, from Auradon City, to be more exact. I haven’t spent a lot of time in a place like this and it’s been interesting to explore it.

I am told my fiancée and I will be expected to start attending school on Monday. Are there many others our age here, as well?

I went ahead and took a position at the high school just because it's what I'm comfortable doing.

But...then I kind of had an idea? And I don't know if it's a ridiculous idea or if there'd even be a need for something like it here but I'll run it by you guys first.

What about a community center type thing? I started thinking about how we didn't have community theater, not even on the Island. More than high school kids like doing things on stage and stuff, right? And we have a sporting goods store but is there even a place where adults can participate in sports?

Is this a completely stupid out of left field idea? Or is this something we as a community might be interested in?
