I know we were celebrating, but I don’t think I had so much to drink that I should be waking up in some strange obstacle course with no memory of having ever fallen asleep.

Have we figured out if there's any rhyme or reason for why the Thingy is acting so...weird? We can't reassure people that these things usually only last a week or so when lately it's been a day. I enjoy traveling as much as the next guy, but you can't deny there's something odd about one day time traveling to London and the next day you're in modern era California and the next day you're a merperson.

I can say, with great confidence, that I am happy not to see sand for once. It's a welcomed break.

For the record, though, I didn't mind seeing my husband as a handsome merman, and Morgan was the most adorable mermaid I had ever seen. I have a feeling I'll be learning how to style mermaid waves and fishtail braids from this point on.
