Announcements!
With apps slowing down, and drops staying about steady, you may notice that units are beginning to stay at four or five characters more frequently, rather than a full six. While the long-term players among you may recognize this from the days after the East Block move, to others, it's probably new and a little strange, especially in the wake of establishing a max number of players.
But we want you guys to know that we do notice the bit of a wane. That's according to plan! For us as mods, having the game down to a more manageable number of characters and players makes things way, way easier on us. It gives us flexibility on placements, it prevents long, unpleasant wait times on apps (FOUR MONTHS FOR MINDY! FOUR MONTHS!!!) and it means that we can be sure when we're running big events (be it plot or games) we're not going to get bogged down/worn out mid-action.
All that being said, we still want this to be something that works well for you guys as well. As we always have, we're going to keep an eye on all team size and turnover rates. If we continue to have a good cycling of characters, then that's great. If things continue to slow down over the year, we have some Interesting Things that could happen to keep Sabra as awesome as possible all the way through, and we'll bring those up to the relevant parties when and if relevancy relevates. If YOU have any ideas you think would be especially awesome, we always have an open ear!
And, y'know, feel free to notice this ICly! It is the South Block after all. Nothing wrong with the characters panicking and starting some fires— just, so long as you the players feel no similar need to cleanse the world with flame OOCly. :Db
