Okay, game info! (Finally.) Mirror's game will take place this Friday, June 11th! Mingle at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST/9 AM JST (Saturday); the game will start promptly at 9 PM EST/6 PM PST/10 AM JST (Saturday). It should run for about three to four hours, with four being the absolute maximum.
So what's this game about? Two words: evil twins. This is going to be the first of two games that Mirror will run, and as such this game's tone is supposed to be hilarious. No serious evil here, please; I'm looking for moustache-twirling damsel-kidnapping candy-stealing buffoonery of all stripes. (Drawing goatees on your icons is optional.) To that end, I'm going to need at least one person from each partnerteam to fill the following roles:
Evil Twin! Your character will be knocked out and temporarily replaced by your totally eviltastic reflection. As an Evil Twin, you will be expected to help run your section of the game and throw obstacles at the heroes, so please don't claim this role unless you think you'll be around for most of the game.
Kidnapee! Your character will be at the Evil Twins' mercy. You won't be hurt in any real way, but you may be in some mild peril, like being tied to some railroad tracks or dangled over a pit of man-eating scorpions. Depends on who's keeping you captive. Kidnapees do not have to be present during the game (you can just be knocked out), but it helps if you're around to scream convincingly.
Rescuer! Everyone else. You don't really need to sign up for this role, but it would be nice to get a feel for how the numbers are going to work out.
Ideally, I'd like to see a ratio of 1:1:2 between Twins:Kidnappees:Rescuers, but as long as there's at least one of each for each partnerteam group, we should be okay. Also, if you play an Ophiuchus and would like to be on call for a role in case of balance issues, please let me know. The game design I have in mind will probably be flexible enough to allow a couple Ophi to participate.
