As previously heads-upped, the Twins game coming up on March 13th (the 14th JST) is going to take a bit of advance prep, so if you think you're going to be around for the game, please give the following a read-over and reply to this post. We're looking at a mingle from 6pm EST (3pm PST/ the 14th at 8am JST) and gamestart at 7pm/4pm/9am, respectively. o/
Summary:
It's a murder mystery game! Which is to say, your characters will be ICly playing a murder mystery, it will clearly be a game, and there is no trauma at all here -- it's purely for fun. Each participating character will be told the story's setting, be given a character role to play, and be tasked with A) playing that role well, B) finding the murderer, and C) accomplishing character-related goals.
Sign-ups:
If you're going to be playing, please let us know in this post! We'll be creating the character roles and story over the next week so we need to know how many participants and who they are in order to do our best to assign completely inappropriate and ridiculous roles (FOR EXAMPLE, Ticky as a Sunday school teacher, Michiko as a Children's Aid Society caseworker)
If you'd like to play but aren't sure if you can make it, let us know too, tentative sign-ups are cool /o/
Some things to keep in mind when signing up:
1) Please pick someone who will at least make a token effort to play along. They don't have to be good at it! Or always stay in character! Lulz are the goal of this game. But if everyone just sits in a corner going "this is stupid memories aren't worth it" then it's not fun for anyone. Remember, they're going to be asked to act out a role for this!
2) We won't bar anyone from playing two characters, but we do strongly recommend you only play one. It'll be pretty involved and you're more or less playing a character who is trying to play a character, so more than one would likely be difficult.
3) If we can, it'd be good to have at least one character from each team, but it's not mandatory. The game will run fine. Non-represented teams just won't have a shot at memories.
Okay guys! Sign-ups are CLOSED. We unfortunately can't take new characters past today because we have to write our murder mystery, and for the sake of our sanity, can't be adding/changing/switching a dozen characters right up to the last minute T.Tb
...and that's about it! Questions/comments also welcome :|b
