Maybe you saw it in your dreams. Maybe you've seen something in the paper or heard the name in passing from a stranger. Whatever the reason, you can't help feeling drawn toward it. You don't know why, you just now you need to be there and once you're there, you'll never want to leave. Pack up your car, hop in your hovercraft, start walking, buy your plane ticket, or stick out your thumb...you're on your way. Time to start fresh. Find a job, make friends, get yourself a roommate; whatever you need or want to do. Welcome home. We're glad to have you. At first, this new life is bare bones and almost bland for some, but it's clear that there is something isn't exactly right. You might notice if a large group of people move into town, just like you, but no one else does. Whatever is happening, you'll notice, and once you start to, there's no turning back. The town still has that grip in your heart, but now? Now you need to get down to why these things are happening and only the travelers like you who have come from all over to stay here are noticing. If birds start flying backwards and ripples appear in the sky, what else is coming? And why? |
