Five islands, five kingdoms, united under one king. In the cold north, the League of Arbrecht is a fractious lot, always at each others' throats. The Vandermark basks in old honor, and religion that predates everything else. Caught in the midst, Lacharn strives to protect their peaceful culture, where women are allowed equality with men. Caelain, where the royal family of Fontenot comes from, embraces tradition and its own problems. In the farthest south, the desert land of Ahestere hails sophistication unknown anywhere else. To the west lies the island of Forsilvra, home of royal dynasty and the court, where politics dictate the future of five provinces. Between the five provinces alliances are forged and broken, intrigues abound, and blood runs thicker than water. The nobility fight for power and wealth, influence and position. It's just like any other day, except maybe on this particular day you wake up with a bit of a headache. You think maybe it's just a hangover from that party you went to last night, and then you start hearing a voice inside your head. Are you going crazy? No. Are you imagining things? No. Is there actually a fictional person living inside your head? Reincarnation has been a world-wide phenomenon for centuries. Fictional entities taking up residence in the minds of unsuspecting people; sharing memories, histories, and abilities. It began in secret, but as the number of reincarnates grew in the world it became increasingly hard to remain unnoticed, or to exist together peacefully. It's 2012 and the Reincarnate War has been waged for centuries. Camelot and CORE have been locked in an ongoing battle of ideals, with the neutral agent the Agency trying in vain to keep the peace. Acts of terrorism, fighting in the streets and heavy casualties on both sides have painted the reincarnate community red, until a battle that lasted the night named Camelot the victor. Survivors began to rebuild a community now in shambles, and the magic of reincarnation has shifted with the appearance of fictional territories all over the world. Even worse, former members of CORE have formed a new terrorist group called the Resistance. Their attacks have been brutal, and among these attacks has come the outing of reincarnates to the public. Some have accepted it with a fascination; others, fearing change and the Resistance, have reacted in outrage towards reincarnates. Mundie governments are no longer cooperating with the Agency for the protection of the community, and a temporary alliance between the Agency and Camelot has been made to weather the storm. Where will you stand? With the Resistance, aiming for reincarnate superiority? With Camelot, aiming for the destruction of the Resistance? With the Agency, working hard to keep together a crumbling world? Or will you chance it on your own in a world where reality is being literally reshaped below your feet? The choice is yours. | ||

For many generations, Durmstrang Institute has been a safe haven for all of those who hold strong to the ideal that the wizarding blood must be kept as pure as possible, for no other way can they possibly keep the magic strong. However, times change. And while the countries who send their children off to Durmstrang are many, and their Pureblood number far greater than the United Kingdom can boast, it does not mean that they have gone unscathed. Where thePureblood families of the UK are all but whipped out by infertility and death, those of Eastern Europe are only just now beginning to show the depleting signs. Thankfully, depending on your stance, the Headmaster of Durmstrang has seen fit to introduce the new generations to a much more progressive way of thinking. Durmstrang is no longer a safe haven of Purist beliefs. Headmaster for fourteen years, Ivanov is now in a firm position and has opened Durmstrang to not just Purebloods and Halfbloods, but Muggleborn as well. With the addition of a vast number of new students, there is also new curriculum and a much larger campus to meet the new demands. However, not nearly everyone is happy. His position may be saved by his politically unaligned seat of power on the Isle Durmstrang sits on, but he is determined to meet each obstacle head on, for the sake of his students, and the future he is hoping to usher in despite the staunch hold Tradition has on the wizarding populace of Eastern Europe.
