Esplanade Ave

New supernatural community that combines elements of V:tM, Anita Blake, and Merry Gentry 'verses.

This game focuses around New Orleans, Louisiana, where for some reason the city has become quite popular with many of these strange beings. Right now just about all supernaturals are struggling for pure equality and acceptance. Vampires are trying to keep a friendly face to the world, going against their natural urges in order to look less threatening. Weres are trying to be accepted, but mostly too afraid of the backlash they’ve seen to even come out with who they really are. Humans with unnatural powers are trying to handle their differences from those around them, and face the harsh reality that people who were once their friends would now judge them. And the Fae are trying to keep as far from negative eye that they can, uninterested due to their natural distrust with humans and the nastiness they’ve seen just between other creatures.

The world is moving in a fast pace, trying with everything it can to keep up with the change in front of them.

It will be up to you how it happens.

In the middle of January Xavier's School for Gifted Students was attacked in the dead of night. Both mutant and non-mutant alike fought to lend a powerful blow to the mutant community by taking out the school. They did not expect the battle they would be faced with and many were lost that night. Since then, under the leadership of Ororo Munroe, the staff and students at Xavier's have struggled to find normalcy once more. The mansion is being repaired slowly, security enhanced, and students are finding comfort in consistent classes once again. But there are darker things looming just out of sight.

In the space of one day, Magneto, who was at the mansion to help a struggling Lorna Dane, has disappeared along with the green-haired girl. Scott Summers, long thought dead, has returned to find his one-time home still in a state of partial ruin, his lover gone, and his father-figure dead. With shifts in command and mutants losing control of their powers due to cures wearing off, what else will the residents of Xavier's have to face. Is the New Brotherhood still a threat, perhaps an even bigger one now with Magneto on the loose? If Scott is somehow alive, could it mean the professor lives somewhere, too?

Do you dream of traveling the stars? Giant robots? Epic battles? Relationships forged in the heat of said battles? How about a RPG that masterfully fuses plot and character development? If you answered yes, then it's time for you to apply to Ganymede Academy!

The production of fully functional mecha units began in 2165. No one fully realized the implications - not until war broke out between Russia, the United States, Europe, North Korea, and Japan. For 13 years, war ravaged the Earth. In the aftermath of those terrible battles, the UN decided that mechs were simply too dangerous to be used without heavy restrictions. They decided that use of mechs for military actions should be governed by the UN, and that the units themselves would be removed from Earth - only brought down for UN-sanctioned missions - to prevent another tragedy. So it was that they conceived the idea to build an international military base and academy in Space to train the next generation of pilots - Ganymede Station.

The year is 2211, several generations of pilots have graduated through Ganymede Academy, and the planet has enjoyed many years of peace. But with the colonies talking of independence from Earth, how much longer can it last?
