In the afternoon Emily was lying on her stomach on a blanket in the garden of the roof of the Manor. She was idly writing on the laptop that she had in front of her on the blanket, but with one eye she was following the black-white-brown spotted cat exploring the small garden. Wayne had been indoors already for a year so it was newly exciting and wonderous to feel wind in his fur and sense all sorts of fresh smells. The enclosed small garden was ideal - Emily did not have to worry about him spurting off and getting lost and would be able to pick him up again quickly if needed.

After work in the afternoon Thomas stopped by to the Auberge for a cup of coffee. He enjoyed the small café and preferred its atmosphere to that of the Mocha's, somehow, but he was sure to keep an eye on his watch while he was sitting there and making some notes for an up-coming wine tasting. He realized he needed to be back at his apartment soon in case he had an unexpected visitor, but there was always time for a good latte.

Around seven in the evening Lucas stepped out of Skin Deep Ink with a permanent smug grin on his face. Another part of his left tattoo sleeve - about his bicep above the elbow - was now colored and finished, smothered in lotion and covered with plastic wrap to keep it safe. Since it was quite warm Lucas was carrying his leather jacket rather than wearing it so the strange wrap around his arm was visible. He had a night off, still some money left after the tattooing, so he was wondering where to head and who to hang out with.
