Eris at the pool; Deacon in the gym - OTA and MW

Eris was very glad she'd had her little 'release' at the old oil refinery. If she hadn't all the tension in the Manor would be really getting to her. Not that she didn't feel it, she did. And maybe in ways others didn't. After all she was Vision's daughter and there were times that the fire that burned in her eyes was dark and deadly and came from a place that would make Daddy proud.

But she was just human enough to not give in completely. Even if right now that was something she sometimes wanted to do. And it would have been so much harder to resist if she still had all that bottled up. As it was she was fairly relaxed and today was lounging by the pool where it was still plenty warm thanks in part to the greenhouse effect the glass pool house had.

So she floated lazily on her float in the middle of the pool and wondered just what was going to happen this Halloween. She really hoped whatever it was wasn't after her again. That had sucked.

Down in the gym Deacon was having a go at the punch bag. He'd been neglecting his kick boxing and over the last few days had really gotten back into it. Maybe - if he ever retired completely from his other 'job' he'd teach again. He'd enjoyed that once upon a time.

Icene was sitting in the laundry room, watching the machines spinning her coloured wash round and round and round. She wasn't bored, because the colours were swirling in a very hypnotic fashion. She didn't realise anyone else was there until a hand waved in front of her face.

"Hello, you looked a little stuck there?" Emma grinned as soon as the blonde CSI looked up, "You alright?"

And then they talked )

The Lost and Found, Saturday Night, Avery OTA

After midnight on Saturday Emily finally came out from the small locker room in the backrooms of La Fee Verte, only to meet Thomas Avery on his way out, dangling his car keys from his fingers.

"Look at you," he scoffed. "You look like a cowgirl straight from a farm in Texas. Jesus."

"Yeehaw," Emily answered dryly and stroke her two pigtail braids. "Does it matter what I look like in the kitchen?"

"Darling, where ever you are, you should never look like a cowgirl," Thomas adviced but paused to think. "Unless of course you are 19, and actually a cowgirl. Wearing denim hotpants and boots, and a nice tan. Preferrably nothing else."

Emily stared at him. He shrugged.

"I'll just ignore that. Now, before I go home, I've got some planning to do with Scott, so see you tomorrow," Emily said, and Thomas could not have been happier to leave the cowgirl with no style.

He left the restaurant and as he drove off with his Bentley he pondered where to drop in for a drink. The Flamingo Lounge? The Empress restaurant? Or maybe the Lost and Found?

The upstairs of Lost and Found would do for tonight as he was feeling a little restless anyway. It was not even far away, so he soon parked the shimmering bronze vehicle and made his way to the bar, making a smooth entry in his trendy silver suit.

He looked around appraisingly at the other customers, wondering if the clientele was worthy of his precense for more than one drink. That one drink he would at least get, so he walked up to the counter. He got the bartender's attention immediately, and he ordered a gin tonic flashing a VIP card with his credit card.
