200 — Anniversary Festival!

Happy Anniversary, Marina Nova!

The bots have been busy cleaning up the dome and setting up decorations for this momentous occasion, and by now there isn't a nook or cranny left un-pimped! Bright blue MarinaNova flags wave happily in the artificial breeze together with the colorful ribbons that have been wrapped around poles. The streets are illuminated by strings of lights and paper lanterns and each sector gate has been lovingly decorated with fragrant flower garlands.

Of course, that is far from all! There wouldn't be much of a festival without entertainment and your loving wardens have made absolutely sure that there's something for everyone!

Sector 0 Fairground: If you want to go faster, you have to scream louder! Sector 0 has been taken over by a fairground where you can find such old classics as the bumper cars, a haunted house of mirrors, a more romantic tunnel of love, a roller coaster, a classic merry-go-round and, of course, a ferris wheel.

Game Booths: Step right up! Test your skill and win a prize! Throughout the dome there's a variety of game booths, ranging from the classic ring toss and high striker to kissing booths and dunk tanks. There's also a duck pond game, balloon darts and goldfish scooping game — with mechanical goldfish, of course!

The prizes are all of the carnival variety, including but not limited to: stuffed animals, fake tattoos, cheap bracelets and necklaces, stickers, rubber reptiles, silly hats, wiggle snakes and sticky hands or other sticky things.

Performances: The other way to show your skill! There are two stages set up in the dome: the first one with sound equipment and instruments suitable for a musical performance — or perhaps just karaoke! If no one is using the stage, it will automatically play randomly selected music from a wide variety of genres. The second stage is set up to accommodate physical performances like gymnastics and when no one is performing you're treated to a projection of ball room dancers, gymnasts, modern dance, ballet and similar things!

There are also street performers scattered throughout the dome. You can watch robots juggle, eat fire, swallow swords or charm robot snakes! There's also face painting and the occasional robot dressed up as a human statue for your amusement.

Food: The food carts in sector 0 are now carrying food fit for the occasion. You can find classic carnival food like popcorn, cotton candy, corn dogs, funnel cakes and pizza slices, but also takoyaki, okonomiyaki, candied almonds, gyros, pirogues, egg rolls and of course snow cones and ice-cream cones. The theme has of course extended to the drink selection and you're welcome to quench your thirst with lemon shake ups, butterbeer, mead and malted milkshakes.

[Anything she wanted to say was put on hold by the fact she hit water, cold, wet, dirty water. Of course, dirty was subjective. But in any case, she was in the water, thanks to Mr. Stark. She thrashed around, very undignified before getting her feet under her and her hands on the edge of the tank. She's very bedraggled, hair darker red from the water, her freckles coming out to play.]

[ Peggy was enjoying the food and the games a tiny bit herself, wandering where she willed thanks to the efforts of one Bucky Barnes forcing her out of her comfortable niche at the cafe.

Still, it's with a tiny apology that Peggy bumps into Pepper, nearly losing one of the stuffed toys ~~that suspiciously looks almost like a Captain America dressed teddy bear~~ she's acquired for herself and the lemonade she'd just order from a random stand. ]

[Bucky has seen her before, even waved good morning, but they haven't really talked. A surprise considering Bucky spends time in her apartment with her fella. He never expected her to be one of the people sitting on the ledge in the dunk tank, though. He walks up and lightly rolls one of the balls around with his fingers.

There is likely a joke about water and Potts in there somewhere, but far be it for him won't make it.] Pepper, right? How'd you get roped into this little game?
