WHO: Amelia, Ed and Gio
WHAT: Running away from home to the second place she calls home, and finds out someone is there that makes her swoon
WHERE: Gio and Ed's house
WHEN: Jan 11, Tuesday, evening
RATING: Low
The house was quiet. It only ever got quiet after someone has an argument with Amelia; and it usually was with the mother more than the father. What it was about this time was beyond her. All she said was that she was planning on dying her hair again. The blue was starting to bore her anyways. Whatever Amelia said set her mother off that ensued the mini fight. As far as Amelia knew these things happen with a normal family, even though she didn’t really have a normal mom and dad, but what she has seen on TV and the movies, it was completely normal. So it didn’t really faze her much, though she didn’t listen to her mother when she was told to stay within her room the rest of the night.
It was never a smart idea to give her the room with a huge tree right outside it. And with her room looking out toward the backyard, she could do so many things and no one could see a thing. ( Unless they were outside and stalking her by staring up at her window ). With it being cold outside, it was easy to slowly open the window, slowly make her way out onto the roof of the porch, closing the window and slowly as well as carefully making her way toward the edge. She may be short but that roof was low enough for her to grip the edge of it and let go, and land on her feet perfectly.
Amelia looked through the lit windows on the first floor, making sure no one was near any of them or currently looking toward one before sneaking her way toward the fence door and finally toward her freedom. She actually ran down the street, secretly thinking someone might nark on her if they saw her. But who in their right mind would be out during the freezing cold? Oh, wait.. she was.
She wasn’t much of an athlete so the running slowed after her heart couldn’t take anymore. She was almost toward Gio’s house that she literally had to stop a moment and bend down to catch her breath. After collecting herself, Amelia fixed her coat and shirt by pulling it down; and even fixed her hair the best she could without a mirror. Hopefully Gio was home, she thought as she rang the doorbell.
