Her eyes instantly shot up toward the stairs when she walked further into the house, away from the door and the cold, when Ed told her Gio was upstairs. She could have easily went up the stairs and surprised her friend like she did sometimes. But tonight, she wanted to wait until Gio came down the stairs to greet her.
Amelia looked away from the stairs then with her hands coming up to pat away the red from her cheeks, though that might have made it worse but she saw it in the movies. Never hurt to try it, right? She had to shake the cold from her body and get used to the heat within the house before realizing she was still standing there in her coat. Thanks to Ed saying something.
There really was no need to feel so embarrassed like she sort of felt still, but when you're in front of your crush since you knew what it was called, it was hard to act normal around them. But the blue headed girl tried her best, and how she showed it was by laughing and doing another shake to show she was still trying to shake off the cold. "Oh, I know. I didn't realize how cold it was outside until I was standing out there for a minute." A bright smile was given to Ed after she turned around a little to look his way. And as she stripped her pilot jacket off, Gio was heading down the stairs.
"Hey, Gio! I thought I'd drop by before the aliens came back to prob me some more." Aliens in the language of Amelia meant her parents. But the two boys could have taken that any way they wanted.
