The daydream disappeared when there was actual voices were ringing in her ears. She had to make it look like she was just looking at Ed while he spoke, and then turn her attention back to Gio with a lazy shrug disturbing her shoulders. “Let’s just say I’m supposed to be in my room.” And that was all she was going to say. By now it was obvious how she didn’t really like being at home when having an argument with her mother; be it big or small.
And hearing about one of the brothers being sick really didn’t faze her. She actually let out a small chuckle, but not toward their brother being sick. “I think I’ll catch a cold from running around in this weather instead.” But you never know. Germs travel faster than words.
