This is Altair Laurent, one of the finalists in the chocobo races this afternoon. I would just like to remind all of you intrepid scavenger hunters that we racers tend to be rather fond of our chocobos and won't take kindly to people attempting to pluck feathers from their bodies. Should I win, my groomsman is armed and has been instructed to shoot trespassers. Additionally, all chocobos have the same feathers, so it would be better for you if you can prove your feathers came from the correct bird. If not, prospective feather-pilferers, you will have been shot in vain.
Fortunately for you, I will be wearing a pouch filled with marked feathers from my chocobo. Should I win, you may come find me after the race and, if you ask nicely, I will be happy to supply you with a feather for the hunt. As you will have mere hours to find me between the race's end and the scavenger hunt winners announcement, I won't even make myself difficult to find. I will remain at the track for a few minutes after the end of the race, and I will be at the ball later (as, I'm sure, will you).
Happy hunting!
