School Trip, Day One. (Bus Ride, Eating Somewhere and Onsen)
Who: EVERYONE (npcs welcome)
What: Bus Ride, Eating, Onsen, Night 1 at hotel.
Where: ON A BUS
When: Late May
Why: We like trips.

Aomori-sensei was clearly not in the best of moods. He hadn't been for a while. Still, there was an air of excitement about the students who were assembling to get on the buses as they chose thier seat partners and talked. It wasn't every day that they went on a school trip. Very few of them had been paying much attention in the half-day of lessons before. Even Ishino-sensei looked the happiest she'd been since the incident.

She went through the lines of pupils, checking thier permission forms, while Aomori and Banno-sensei herded them into the coaches.

	Kou thought this trip could be interesting. He was sitting halfway down the bus, where he'd secured himself a window seat. He liked the countryside and considered it sad he rarely visited it, except to see his grandparents. Still, he guessed he was lucky to be coming. Much as he hated the idea of going on a trip where he'd probably be made to do some group clean-up project, the idea of not having homework and not having to help out his parents far outweighed the cons of the situation. With so many people going, dipping out of helping would be easy enough - though he probably should help people, just to have them keep quiet. Still, though he didn't have many preferences with who he shared a tent with or what the group ended up doing (so long as it wasn't constant work), there was one thing Shin had made sure to do: secure himself a seat in the very back of the bus. Like hell was he about to go who knew how many hours with chattering girls and loud boys without sneaking a cigarette. People would be less likely to bitch if he was in the back and if someone did it'd be easy enough to ditch the cigarette before a teacher reached him.

Of course, he wasn't about to risk getting his carton confiscated, so he was planning on waiting until the bus ride became intolerable. Until then, he'd listen to some music and sleep. Already, he was preparing to do so. His legs stretched out to take up the entire seat and he was already making himself comfortable - his flattened pillow that he always leaned on at home was cushioning himself from the hard interior of the bus' wall.

Hopefully, if he did need to share seats, it'd be with someone he could tolerate for a long period. Like Tanaka.

Maybe he'd just say he was saving the seat, if anyone asked.

Boarding the bus, Keiichi looked around for a place to sit. It seemed he'd been late to the party, and most of the seats were already filled. Probably would have to share.

Walking down the aisle, he spotted Kanaye -- but quickly figured the other boy was probably trying to find a girl to sit with him. One seat back, he found Oubai-san. Well. This would do.

"May I sit here, Oubai-san," he asked, gesturing to the empty aisle seat.

Toru tried to make himself seem small in his seat. Other people were sitting together and chatting, sure, but he just wanted to disappear. The counselors said he ought to spend more time with people, but like hell would he cooperate in a situation like this. The investigation team had certainly all told him they didn't blame him for... what happened... but nonetheless he doubted any of them would want to sit with him. And normally he would have some kind of handheld game system for a class trip. Not this time- the teachers had made sure that he didn't bring anything of the sort with him. So he sat quietly, hoping the bus ride would be over soon.

Kiriko was sitting at the back of the bus, trapped between the window and an extremely talkative girl also from class B who appeared to be entirely oblivious to her companion's misery. Kiriko herself was slouched in the seat, arms wrapped around her bag and chin propped up on the top of it. Occasionally she cast a look around the bus for a familiar face, someone less annoying than her busmate or more interesting that herself to save her from this unfortunate situation, and made herself a mental note to put her bag down next time she found herself with a vacant seat next to her.

Kozue had gotten on the bus with her roommate, looking forward to a long ride of chatter and inane gossip and terrible secrets about some girl in 3-F or 2-A or wherever. After all, Ayako loved following gossip: she was one of those people who bought idol-stalking and celebrity-news magazines by the bushel. But apparently she was also one of those people who only really wanted to sleep on long bus rides. And she'd brought a blanket and a pillow and everything.

Great. Just great.

Looking around for other entertainment, Kozue heard a vaguely familiar voice behind her, chattering, chattering, chattering. The girl was in her class, she remembered - and the stuff she said usually wasn't as interesting as Ayako's dirt, but it was better than being next to her snoring room-mate the entire time. So Kozue swiveled around in her seat, getting up on her knees and peeking over behind her - and she was confronted with a rather miserable looking Kiriko in the window seat behind. "Hello," she said, smiling, if a bit belatedly.

A quiet rippled down the rows of the bus, steeping seat after seat in whispers and murmurs as the towering boy stalked through them. The frenetic energy that had grabbed hold of the students on the bus was whisked away when he passed, but even the most notorious delinquent in school couldn’t keep them stymied today-- the excitement was just too great -- and so the noise ebbed back to full crescendo again.

The back row, however, was not so lucky. The excited babbling dropped completely and the mood soured and sobered as Reizo ripped a boy from the very back seat and took it up for himself, leaving the frustrated second year to wander off and eventually get settled with.. Well, he didn’t bother watching to see. He just folded his lanky frame into the seat and finally noticed who was sitting across from him.

His eyes flicked over the familiar mayor’s son, but he stayed silent for the time being. He’d hit the cigarette jackpot, but Kozue and Kiriko being all of two seats ahead of him made it a somber lottery. The quiet that’d washed over the back of the bus broke several minutes after, but the noise was still a pale comparison to the racket they’d been making earlier.

Gendou had been told to wait to check in with Ishino-sensei to make sure the students were settled in the buses. After going over the list with her he hurried onto the bus himself and looked around. Seeing Reizo sitting in the back, and as it was a good place to sit. He headed to the back and saw a second year wander away from him. Shaking his head he walked over to the deliquent and tapped on the seat.

"Would you kindly move your feet Shirai-kun, you're in my seat and I really must sit back here. I have a lovely view of Ikeda-san, and I would hate to miss this opertunity."

He smiled nicely, "Would you mind?"

Kanaye stretched and yawned after Aomori declared it lunch break. He was tired after the long bus ride, and needed something to eat, and he needed it fast. He needed at least two other people. He would ask his classmates, but he wasn't really friends with most of them. So, the logical conclusion is rather obvious.
"Hey, Shichan~?" Kanaye asked, striding over to the girl in question. "Wanna get some food with me? I'll pay~" he finished, smiling.

Having just finished slinging her bag over her shoulder and stretching to get rid of the stiffness in joints, Shiori was surprised when Satou came back over to talk to her. She would have thought that he'd go off with his fellow third years, but here he was, coming back over to her. Blinking at his request, Shiori's face quickly broke into a grin.

"That'd be great!" she exclaimed. "I'll pay for your souvenir as thanks!"

Assuming this place had souvenirs. And that Satou came with her to look for them. There had to be a gift shop around here somewhere...

"Oh, but sensei said we had to go in groups of three. Who else should we ask?"
