School Trip, Day One. (Bus Ride, Eating Somewhere and Onsen)
Who: EVERYONE (npcs welcome)
What: Bus Ride, Eating, Onsen, Night 1 at hotel.
Where: ON A BUS
When: Late May
Why: We like trips.

Aomori-sensei was clearly not in the best of moods. He hadn't been for a while. Still, there was an air of excitement about the students who were assembling to get on the buses as they chose thier seat partners and talked. It wasn't every day that they went on a school trip. Very few of them had been paying much attention in the half-day of lessons before. Even Ishino-sensei looked the happiest she'd been since the incident.

She went through the lines of pupils, checking thier permission forms, while Aomori and Banno-sensei herded them into the coaches.

Kanaye wasn't really paying attention. He had been around these conversations before, and the words being said almost never changed, so he just ignored them. People should be allowed to choose to go after anyone they want, so people should stop trying to convince people to go out with people that are not themselves. Only paying attention when Misaki called his name, he got ready for his usual answer ("Yes, ?"), but when Misaki threw the bottle and it's contents landed on Keiichi, he knew something was up. He hadn't exactly been in this position before, but it was similar to things he had seen. Now, this WAS Misaki, so it might have been an accident, but it landed on Keiichi, and he didn't remember asking for water...
"Uh, Misachan? Mind NOT throwing open water bottles at me? Oh, and stop trying to get Shiori and Keiichi together; If they want to get together they can do that themselves."

Frowning as Aoi listed all the reasons why Shiori was wrong, Shiori didn't defend herself again. She wasn't about to now that Keiichi - thanks to Aoi - was awake. Even if Aoi did have good intentions and did want them to get together, she was wrong about it. Kondo was way better a match for Keiichi than Shiori was, and Keiichi obviously liked her more.

Not wanting to talk about it anymore, Shiori resolutely changed the subject away from the now-awake Keiichi and instead beamed at Satou.

"Anyway, do you know how long the ride is going to be, senpai?" she asked, deciding to ignore the last thing he had told Aoi. "I, um, wasn't really paying attention to the details."

As usual when it came to her. Visually, she was exceptionally observant, but when it came to listening she was as forgetful as a goldfish. It was something she planned on working on one day.

Misaki paused and looked down, the pulled up her legs in a quiet, "Sorry Sempai.." This was how it always went, she tried hard to make friends, make people happy, but instead only wound up driving them away. She was sure that soon enough the laughter and mocking would start and spread all through the school. No matter what she did she never could do anything right, at least in Misaki's mind anyway.

She'd get away from it, maybe get lost in the town. She'd keep to herself, mostly, and stay with her friends, the ones she had in her head. Looking out the window she wondered if there was any chance at getting off the bus now? Maybe they weren't to far from home, she could walk back. A sick feeling was eruptingn in her stomache and she just wanted to curl up into a ball and cry.

Kanaye frowned. The way Misaki had looked, it made him feel like he had kicked a puppy. A cute, adorable, loving, go up to you and give you your slippers and a newspaper puppy. He felt like Viper Vizier or something. "Uh...sorry if I was being frank to you, Misachan..." He got that far before he gave up and Shiori interrupted him.

He was actually quite surprised at Shiori for smiling like she did, but then again, Keiichi WAS awake, so he could understand where she was coming from. "I have no idea myself, Shichan." he started, trying to smile. "I was too busy...uh..." Sheesh, what was up with him? He was so out of it that he felt sick. "I was too busy trying to find you!" Kanaye tried, half-smiling. Random flattery was always good.

Shiori frowned, even as she opened her sketchbook. Satou sounded off - he wasn't upset about the conversation either, was he? She was trying to cheer up and get off track, and she couldn't do that if he was going to still be depressed about it! Or... or was it something else?

Stopping, she laid her book open on one of the battle scenes she had drawn from Oubai's dungeon as she fiddled with her phone. Finally figuring out how to send a text message, she sent one to Satou:

are you okay senpai?

((Hurf durf, read the rest of the text messages here if you realllly care. <3))

Groaning slightly considering his rather wet state, Keiichi cast a glance over his shoulder at the talking group. From what he could tell, Misaki had thrown the water bottle to Satou-senpai, but hadn't secured the gap.

Which was why he was now all wet.

"Does anyone have a towel or something," he asked, shivering slightly. "It's really cold..."

Tori had watched the proceedings quietly, not wanting to jump into a conversation she knew nothing about. Especially since, from the looks of it, Shiori and Kanaye seemed like the couple and not her and the Keiichi kid Misaki was talking about. Still, when Misaki threw the open bottle Tori had gasped and watched as it landed on Keiichi. Rather than listen to the rest of the conversation, she immediately began to dig in her bag. She was pretty sure she had brought a towel to use just in case someone spilled a drink - she wanted to prevent as many injuries as she could, after all. Finding one, she immediately leaned over to give it to Keiichi.

"Dry off really well, okay? Otherwise you'll catch a cold!" Tori instructed him, frowning worriedly. "It'd really suck to get sick on the trip!"

Realizing her seat partner wasn't talking, Tori frowned more and quickly wrapped an arm around the girl.

"Hey, hey, it's fine!" Tori assured her. "You were just trying to help! Don't beat yourself up for trying to do something good, okay? Cheer up, Misaki-chan!"

Someone...actually *did* have a towel? Well, that was a pleasant surprise. He'd expected that everything of that sort would be packed up.

"Thanks," Keiichi began, before realizing that he had no idea who his savior was. Clutching the towel and rubbing at his face and chest, he frowned slightly. "I'm Ito Keiichi, second year. I don't think I've ever met you before. Might I ask your name?"

She was probably a third year, he figured. He knew very little about the third year class.

With an arm still wrapped around Misaki, Tori shifted to talk to Keiichi. These kids were so polite! Not at all like certain members of her class, like Sagaki and Kanaye

"I'm Tachibana Tori, third year. Just call me Tori though!" she introduced herself, smiling widely. "Come find me later if you begin to not feel well. I have cold medicine with me somewhere!"

Along with pain killers and band-aids and a bunch of other things that she hopefully wouldn't need to dish out but brought just in case. It didn't hurt to be prepared.

Misaki nodded some, but that nagging feeling in the pit of her stomache wasn't helping. Sure people would tell her that, they always did, but did they really honestly mean it. Misaki let Tori hug her, there wasn't really much she could do. She didn't mean to hurt Keiichi-sempai, or Shiori-chan, or even make Satou-sempai dislike her like that. She just wanted to wake him up so he could at least see how she was feeling. It wasn't fair to Shiori-chan, in her opinion, though that didn't matter too much compared to other peoples.

Sighing some lightly, hidding it more inside then the others would know, Misaki managed a small comment, "Well at least it was water right? And it didn't get on Oubai-sempai." She looked over at Kanaye and squeeked, "I'm really sorry Satou-sempai! I'll make it up to you okay?"

Keiichi nodded at the third-year girl. "Oubai-san appears to be quite dry," he then said, turning towards Misaki. "I'm the only one all wet. Ah well. There are hot springs here. Won't be the first time I'll be dripping wet this trip."

Handing the towel back to Tori, he smiled. "Thank you, I appreciate it. And don't worry Mi-chan. I'll be fine."

Nodding to Misaki, Tori smiled.

"That's the spirit! Keiichi-kun doesn't mind, so there's no need to be sorry!" Tori told her. Taking the towel back from Keiichi, Tori folded it carefully before putting it back in her bag. She didn't worry about it drying - it wasn't like Keiichi had been wet enough to really dampen the towel. The things in her bag would be fine if they got a little moisture on them.

Kanaye smiled. "No problem Misachan, it's my fault. But I'm all for you making it up with me." Nodding slightly, he turned to Keiichi. "Yo, Kei-kun, you alright? You're not hydrophobic or anything, right?" he asked jokingly. It's not like he had anything better to do.

"Okay then! We can go swimming, Sempai!" Misaki grinned happy that Kanaye wasn't mad at her. She looked at Tori and added, "Um.. Tori-chan, if you're not going to be doing anything tomorrow maybe we can hang out?"
