School Trip, Day One. (Bus Ride, Eating Somewhere and Onsen)
Who: EVERYONE (npcs welcome)
What: Bus Ride, Eating, Onsen, Night 1 at hotel.
Where: ON A BUS
When: Late May
Why: We like trips.

Aomori-sensei was clearly not in the best of moods. He hadn't been for a while. Still, there was an air of excitement about the students who were assembling to get on the buses as they chose thier seat partners and talked. It wasn't every day that they went on a school trip. Very few of them had been paying much attention in the half-day of lessons before. Even Ishino-sensei looked the happiest she'd been since the incident.

She went through the lines of pupils, checking thier permission forms, while Aomori and Banno-sensei herded them into the coaches.

Putting a hand to his chin in the classic thinking gesture, Kanaye tapped his feet. He definitely wanted another girl, preferably one that wouldn't bother them too much. He wanted to make sure he knew them, so...
"Hmm...How about Toshimi-chan?" he asked. Toshimi was pretty much a nice person, and not much else. And she was very cute. It was a really easy choice, honestly.

Contemplating Satou's choice for a moment, Shiori nodded. She hadn't hung out much with Nawanaka, aside from that day they talked at baseball practice, and that had been pretty nice.

"Yeah, let's do it!" Shiori said, peering around for the other girl. Of course, with all of the students milling about and her short height, it was quite the task. Not seeing her, Shiori frowned.

"Do you see her..?" she asked as she attempted to give herself a couple more inches of height as she stood on her toes for a short moment. Even that didn't help.

She had never minded her height until now.

	Scanning the crowd, Kanaye smiled and held Shiori's hand. "Yes, Shichan~, I do! She's over here!" he exclaimed as he started walking towards the younger girl. "Toshichan~, as lovely as always. Toshimi had been standing in the crowd, somewhat awkwardly. Most of her friends from the team had the idea in their minds that it would be a good idea to go eat somewhere "nice"...which, for Toshimi, meant that she wouldn't be able to afford eating there. Of course, when they'd asked if the restaurant was okay with her, she'd just smiled at them and told them she was meeting with some of her other friends. This was a complete falsehood, though.(In Toshimi's mind, outright lying was a much more preferable solution than asking them to go somewhere cheaper.) Toshimi had nowhere to go and now the only people she was especially familiar with were off.

She saw Kanaye coming over. "Hey, Satou-senpai," she greeted. "Nice to see you." She waved. "O-oh, you don't have to..." But Kanaye coming along and inviting her to dinner with him and Shiori was exactly what she'd needed, and with perfect timing. It wouldn't have made sense to refuse. "I'd love to, if it's not too much trouble," she agreed with a smile.

"Oh, no no no, Toshichan~! It's never~ too much trouble when a girl as sweet as you is concerned." he assured her, smiling all the time. "Now then, where shall we go~? I don't know anything around here, so just tell me. Money is no object, so we can go to the most expensive place around for all I care. All I care about is you two being happy and healthy, and I'll pay anything for that. Now then..." he said, putting an arm around both girls. "Shall we go?" he asked as he started moving.

Not even knowing the name of the town they were in or anything about the place, really, except for that it had hot springs, Shiori shrugged.

"I don't know what's around here either," she said. "But... I could go for some sushi, I guess."

There had to be sushi around here, right? A fancy place like this with a hot springs, it'd be impossible for there not to be. And sushi wasn't terribly expensive in Iburi, so hopefully it wouldn't be here too. She'd feel terrible if Satou had to pay a lot for the meal.

"What do you want to eat, Nawanaka-san?" she asked, deciding she'd go with whatever her classmate decided.

Toshimi had to stop herself from staring at Kanaye talking about money like that. She thought that after going to an expensive private school for a while, she'd have gotten used to it. Now she wasn't sure if it was ever going to happen. She still felt like some kind of tourist in the world of Nanakamado.

More importantly, though, she was actually a tourist in this town, and she didn't know where to eat any better than the other two did. Some place that wasn't too expensive, she hoped, because she didn't want to owe too much to Kanaye. But that was beyond the bounds of polite conversation for her. "I'm not a picky eater," she said. "It doesn't matter to me where we go." She looked around. "If neither of you have any ideas, I guess we can just walk until we find something."

Kanaye just sighed dramatically. "Oh, shame. I guess I have to have to deal with you two beauties for longer. Oh woe is me~!" he finished sarcastically before chuckling. "Yeah, I'm all for walking around aimlessly. I am GOOD at that. Hopefully at somewhere nice." he remarked before setting them off on their journey.

Looking around, he couldn't really see much, but that was probably because he was staring at Toshimi and Shiori too much. No, need to pay attention... he thought before catching another glimpse of Shiori and smiling. To them, at least. If I can't make them healthy, I can still make them happy, which is much more preferable. Pausing a bit, he shook his head and continued. No wonder everyone I meet says my logic is messed up, it IS!

Beaming, Shiori followed alongside Satou and Nawanaka. Of course she would keep an eye out for a place that served sushi, but she wouldn't neglect to point out something else if she spotted it. She might change her mind, after all.

"How's the trip going so far for you, Nawanaka-san?" Shiori asked, feeling as though she should say something but not knowing what (obviously). It was a fair question though - she and Satou had quite the ride, what with Aoi and Keiichi and the text messaging. Hopefully Nawanaka's trip was a lot smoother.

Toshimi strolled along through the town with the other two. It was peaceful and had a familiar feeling, even though she'd never been there. She looked around for restaurants, but didn't suggest to stop at any of them. It was a choice, she figured, that should be left to one of the others.

"Actually, I slept through most of the bus ride," Toshi replied. "I spent most of last night gaming, so when we started moving I just passed out," she confessed. "So I haven't seen much, honestly. This town seems very nice, though." She looked around at the scenery and took in a deep, contented breath. "How was the bus ride for you two?" she asked. Of course, she had no idea about anything that had happened.

Kanaye didn't even look around. He figured that if they wanted to have something, they would point it out to them. It's not like they didn't have time or anything.

"Sleeping?" Kanaye asked incredulously. "Missing all of that exciting scenery? Man, you missed out, Toshichan~." he said as he chuckled. "This town is very nice, though." Kanaye shut up rather quickly as soon as she asked, but he managed to force out a smile. "Oh, it was alright. Talked to some people, but nothing important."

Unlike her companions, Shiori did look around. If they weren't going to suggest anything, then she was going to look for a place that served sushi and too bad for them if they didn't want it.

"Ah, don't feel too bad Nawanaka-san! I didn't see to much of it either!" Shiori told her, smiling. Between talking to Aoi, texting Satou, and drawing the rest of the way, she had barely taken in any of the scenery. But she probably didn't really miss out on anything, and there was always the return trip.

Blushing lightly as Nawanaka asked about their ride, Shiori looked up to the sky as though trying to get an answer from there.

"Senpai and I sat next to each other," Shiori elaborated on what Satou said. "And one of his classmates sat next to us. Or, well, next to Aoi-chan, but she was by us too. Senpai showed me how to text properly, too!"

Along with Oubai and Keiichi, but she wasn't about to mention them.

"Well..." Toshi shrugged. "I guess I'm a little sorry to have missed it. I kind of figured it would all be the same, but it looks like it would have been worth seeing. But, there's plenty of scenery here, right?" She looked around, turning and walking backwards for a second to see the other side of the view. "It's wonderful, isn't it?"

"Mm hmm," she nodded politely. "I like texting," she contributed. "But I guess it's not really a habit of mine."

For a minute she walked along silently, then asked, "Either of you see anywhere good yet? Considering the size of this town, there seems to be a fairly large restaurant selection. The onsen here must be a popular tourist spot." Toshimi always analyzed things fairly quickly.

Kanaye chuckled. "Well, if you think we're that amusing, I guess you'll just have to sit by us on the way home! It's a win/win situation for everybody!" he exclaimed before smiling and nodding. "Yes, it's quite nice, Very lovely."

Rather shocked at her question, he pondered. "Not really. I'm fine with whatever either of you two say, so I'll go with anything, really!" he said, smiling.
