School Trip, Day One. (Bus Ride, Eating Somewhere and Onsen)
Who: EVERYONE (npcs welcome)
What: Bus Ride, Eating, Onsen, Night 1 at hotel.
Where: ON A BUS
When: Late May
Why: We like trips.

Aomori-sensei was clearly not in the best of moods. He hadn't been for a while. Still, there was an air of excitement about the students who were assembling to get on the buses as they chose thier seat partners and talked. It wasn't every day that they went on a school trip. Very few of them had been paying much attention in the half-day of lessons before. Even Ishino-sensei looked the happiest she'd been since the incident.

She went through the lines of pupils, checking thier permission forms, while Aomori and Banno-sensei herded them into the coaches.

Yuuto liked hot springs, though his visits there were by few and far apart from each other. I twas relaxing when it wasn't crowded, sometimes you could get a decent conversation if you were lucky, and most importantly, you had an excuse to wear a yukata afterward. Not that he normally needed one in the first place; but a school trip was a school trip.

He nodded at Banno, despite that Yuuto was already making bets with himself someone was going to try peeking into the girls' side if there was a chance to do so. It would be interesting to watch if it happened, to say the least.

He was however, surprised to see that apart from himself who had just went in, the men's bath only ahd one other person. "Guess they're taking their time," he said, mostly to himself.

Kanaye loved hot springs. Even if you ignore the obvious, it was relaxing and an excellent way to get rid of stress. Chuckling at Banno's threat, which he didn't find much of a threat of all, he walked into the changing room.

Putting down his stuff, he was surprised to find that there weren't many people in yet. Only him, Tanaka, and Kou. Odd.

Walking into the onsen, he chuckled at Yuuto's line. "Apparently. Odd how that works out. Hey, Kou-kun!" He said as he sat in the water, as close to the girl's side as he could get.

	Kou's face was expressionless. He'd known classmates would arrive since it wasn't like he'd come in his free time. Still, he wished he'd been on his own a little longer. It wasn't nearly as relaxing with other people. Plus they were, well... He crossed his legs and sunk deeper into the water. Only his head was above the surface. "Hello." Oh, there was the classmate. Satou Kanaye, if he was remembering correctly. The one he'd been meaning to talk to because he seemed interesting; Yuuto just hadn't really found a good opportunity to do so. Well, better late than never, he supposed.

Yuuto stepped into the water, and his interest piqued at the mention of Kou. Huh. Maybe...yeah, it probably wouldn't hurt to ask. "Kou as in Kouchisei?"

	Kou made a noise and turned his gaze. The wall dividing the mens and ladies baths was suddenly fetching. His right hand searched blindly on the stones circling the hot spring for his glasses, which he gently put further away, off the edge. He enjoyed the quiet. Was he getting the silent treatment now? Damn. That didn't really make for a good conversation. Yuuto noticed Kou's hand moving for his glasses, and he got an idea. It was...probably going to be rather mean of him, but eh. He would give them back, anyway.

He moved to take Kou's glasses. Because that's bound to bring up some interesting reaction if it worked, right?

	Something was wrong when he couldn't find his glasses, Kou thought. His hand drifted over where he'd put them, except there was nothing. His heart was pounding. 	Surprisingly, this was easier than he thought it'd be. Kou's glasses were more or less being handled with care -- Yuuto didn't want to break them, that would be honestly stupid and clumsy to do. Yuuto found himself staring. Staring. He didn't like to stare, because that was rude and his grandfather had done a pretty good job of drilling that into his skull after seven years or so, but he also didn't like it because it meant he was at a loss. He hated that too.

Really, kids these days...

"Maybe it hasn't occurred to you that I'm doing this just because it looked like the interesting thing to do," he said. Still, he held out the glasses. "But you've given me reason enough."

	Kou looked at Yuuto's outstretched hand with a suspicious expression; that the thought of going near it was like sticking his own hand in a lion's mouth. He hated the thought of being in danger. It was all Yuuto's fault. "Fine." He snatched his glasses and put them on. "Now leave me alone." With that, he turned around and climbed into the hot spring. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

For a moment, all Yuuto could really do was...well, look. Aaah, this was not the reaction he was expecting, though in retrospect, maybe he should have. It was weird how his kouhai came to all those conclusions (which were all wrong, for the record, or at least his own record), but he supposed that Kou was, perhaps, looking into it too much.

"Can't promise you that."

...It was getting chilly standing up out of the water, and he decided to go back in.
