Dalton Academy for Boys - A Glee RPG OOC community

The promised mod update is here! We´re still not done with all the work that has to be done (and still waiting on responses from people), but to update you on what we have been up to in the past few days...

I. Rules
» There have been minor updates to the rules. Please read them!

VII. What Else to Expect:
» We have a some school-wide events in mind and will be announcing the first set on the 14th!
» On the 15th we should know whom to count with in the future and the Taken Character, Taken PBs and Player Directory will be up-to-date soon after.
» On the 16th, two days after the set respond date unclaimed characters will be moved to the ‘Previous Character’ section or removed from the game entirely. If a character is removed from the game their PB will be free game.

Edit: Spider reminded me! Are there any characters or pairings or anything else that needs a new tag? Tags for the three newest characters have been made as well as pairing tags for Ethan/Harris and Harris/Sebastian. If anyone else is lacking a tag, please leave me a comment :)

Meanwhile, if you have any suggestions or if you notice any mistakes anywhere, please let us know. We welcome all input. This game is not Tina and Josh´s (and Nicole and Spider´s), it belongs to all the players and we believe that its awesomeness comes from the combined effort of everyone involved.

Hey, all! Kitty here. After a bit of convincing... I’m here with another muse. He’s actually one of the boys I had in reserve to bring in once I dropped Jak, but, you know, then Harris happened :P

We seem to have a trend with our transfer sophomores... But, this is Mikey and, you guessed it, he’s been bullied. Quite badly, actually; on the last day of his freshman year he was jumped by a group of jocks and stabbed twice. He survived, obviously, but just like the physical scars haven’t faded, nor have the mental and emotional ones. This all happened back in Dallas, Texas, where he grew up (although he was born in Austin and has spent lots of time there with his grandparents and such).

Growing up, Mikey was a very promising figure skater and gymnast, but he quit both in November of his freshman year due to the bullying that he was enduring day in and day out. In the end, he definitely knows that it wasn’t worth it, and he wants to get back into both, but he’s afraid of giving himself a bad reputation at Dalton. Despite the school’s policy, he’s too scared to hope that it’s as it good as it sounds, and is likely going to spend a little while being terrified of everyone – don’t take it personally. With a little (read; a lot of) convincing, he would join the school’s gymnastics team, but it will take a while.

Thanks to the bullying, Michael has become a shy, timid, and non-confrontational boy, and he does his best to make himself scarce and stay in the background. He doesn’t look strong, but he actually has a lot of strength from the sports he was involved in; he is, however, only just beginning to learn how to use this strength. He’s never really fought back, save for the day he was stabbed and a few incidents thereafter. He’s afraid to trust anyone, but behind all of his walls, he’s naturally friendly and extroverted – he just needs some help getting back to who he was. It’s been a long time since he’s had even one friend, and he’ll have trouble adjusting to Dalton’s friendly atmosphere. Which is problematic because he desperately wants a friend, someone who will care about him and who will look out for him just as he’ll look out for them.

On a final note, the boy is petrified of being hazed or put through an initiation, so if anyone wants to reassure him that it won’t be the case (or, you know, haze him), that’d be great ^^;
