So. Has anyone else noticed some problems with spells? I attempted to cast a relatively simple cleaning charm just now and it entirely failed. I have been doing cleaning charms since I was seven and mama had me working with my brothers to keep the sickrooms organized...

The healers have released me from the hospital ward. It is not clear if it was because the healing is sufficient, or as a result of whatever strangeness is going on. Nonetheless, it will be nice to sleep in my own bed tonight.

I'm not sure how I feel about this issue that the school seems to be having. One one hand it's interesting. But on the other it's quite unnerving. Also I oddly feel a lot better today health wise for the first time in a long while.

Because I'm actually having a good day, is there any place in the school where one can practice Archery?

Well, students, I'm not entirely sure what's going on but let's not see this as a loss of magical ability but a gain of an opportunity! It's so rare for us as magic users, especially those of us that live in the magical world full time, to get an opportunity to experience the non-magical side of things. Relish this chance to learn something new about this world that we live in!

My class will be unaffected and will go on, as planned, for all levels. An integral part of defending against the Dark Arts is knowing how to defend. Please wear comfortable clothes you can move around in, and if you have any medical conditions that would prevent you from some light exercise, or previous injuries that might be aggravated by moving around, please let me know.

Students, as you can imagine, a magical creatures class that is taught both inside and in a non-magic environment is a less than exciting class. However, it's what we have to work with. We will not be able to have a live model in the classroom so in an attempt to keep you all awake, we're going to be studying more dangerous creatures.

Thank you to students who have expressed their concerns for the various creatures. They have been moved to locations outside of the non-magic zone, which means that students will definitely and 10000% not be permitted to visit. The fire lizards, for those who are asking, are fine.

This day has been beyond strange and it doesn't seem like I'm the only one going through it either. Magic hasn't worked at all, no matter what I do, I'm just stuck sitting here with nothing. So trying to do homework or play wizard's chess have been a flop as well.

Any muggleborns with suggestions on what to do to pass the time. Also, will professors allow us to turn in our practical magic homework late if this isnt fixed right away?
