Subject: A very unfortunate turn

Nemo,

Oh my. This is just too precious. An accusation of unwarranted actual bodily harm arising from Sigma defences, and a confession of culpability all in the space of two paragraphs.

...And he tried to hide it as well. I'm very disappointed and concerned.

Subject: Sigma Juniors and their unfortunate mortality

Nemo,

Whilst I realise that having you as a guiding figure can and necessarily must lead to inevitable moral turpitude (if not outright depravity), the behaviour of one of your students earlier today defies even my low expectations for your mentoring. That k Jewish boy is skating on very thin ice, and the freezing waters are eager to break his fall.

I'm taking this to Yi, since it's a matter of school security. I just thought you should be aware of what's going on right under your nose...but then, given your peoples' rather chequered past, perhaps you're encouraging that kind of violent escalation. And when I *do* find evidence of tampering with vital school systems in a time of heightened security, you can be sure I'll also move for your dismissal when we finally sweep the inferior tech students from these halls.

This school is a place for the superior and the blessed, not for John and Jane Average to come and play at being a hero with a socket wrench.

Britannia.

WHO: Eeeeeeeverybody
WHAT: All-Society Block Party
WHEN: Saturday afternoon and into the night (Or Sunday? The weekend, whatever - RP time is weird)
WHERE: The stretch of campus known as Society Row

It was a beautiful, balmy weekend in Boston, perfect for a block party full of bikinis and BBQs. Not that any of these things are promised - it was up to each house to represent their society by opening their doors and their yards in whatever thematic manner they saw fit. Though this was an unofficial event, it was presented with the support of StuCo, a tongue-in-cheek laid back prelude to the formality of the upcoming Social.

If a rep from each society could post below with details on their respective chicanery, people are then welcome to comment with notes on character attendance, behavior, shameful displays, partial or total nudity, faux pas, and so forth.

SUBJECT: Society Block Party

To the Presidents of Our Noble Societies,

First of all, I'd like to offer congratulations to everyone for the events of the last couple weeks - I've heard some pretty impressive things about each of your adventures, as well as of strong performances from the members of your societies. Though we all faced certain hardships and missions did not unfold exactly as planned, it's important to focus on the fact that we all returned safe, sound, and most importantly, successful.

Furthermore, I personally feel that the Junior Missions left us with an unprecedented atmosphere of camaraderie amongst many students, after having worked together so diligently in inter-year, inter-society groups. Personally I would like to see this atmosphere cultivated, which is why I'm coming to you with a proposition: an all-society block party to be held this Saturday along Society Row, in which we celebrate our victories and pay tribute to our losses.

I hope that I can count on all of your participation in this initiative. I trust you'll all find the suggestion perfectly agreeable. The Student Counsel will be happy to pool our resources in whatever way necessary, but I have faith in your respective societies - and your talented Social Chairs - to make this an event to remember.

With Fond Regards,
Dembe Adrisi
President, Camulus Student Counsel
Representative of Uganda

Let's party.

But no, it greatly troubles me to hear that once again Amazon makes demands at the expense of others. Their belief that they are "in control" and/or the most important society on campus is unforgivably rude to the other organisations at Camulus. I know we all have friends in Amazon and while I respect the girls individually; I do not, however, respect the manner in which they have handled the debaucle. If Amazon wants to behave like they are spoiled children, they are welcome to. I refuse to reward it and I refuse to attend their party on grounds of how they have forced it to occur.

As such, I propose we host a party, before their party, making a new tradition of Psi and Sigma cooperation. We are both houses that continually move forward and live for innovation. Instead of adhering to tradition, we buck it, and we make our own. I cannot think of a better partnership. I will not be handling this, our social chair will, as well as our wonderful president, Alfred, but I will be involved; especially as my unique powers can be detrimental to the plans of Psi. I want to be sure if we do this, my presence will not affect the party as a whole.

Sigma, I am confident, can provide a laser show after sunset, as well as opening the planetarium (I will speak to Bruno about providing a soundtrack to it? Like a complete experience) and with our members, we can certainly design a combat field with electric discs instead of the usual beer pong (however, that will also be available). I firmly believe this would be an excellent idea. Maya and I are both in agreement and would like to speak more about this with all of you. Is it possible to set up a meeting for coffee either tomorrow or the next day?

Cheers,

hey sorry we got cut off last night. shit to hear about the amazons being amazons and ade being a complete tit. it's not really fair to you. look, though, sigma offered to host a party with psi; either on the night (i'd prefer that) or before the annual alpha/amazon one. i just want you to know what's up, but don't tell anyone. i'm fuming at how the amazons treated psi, alpha, and you, especially. the immortal words of mick jagger ring true, you can't always get what you want.
