A revolution has recently taken place within society’s attitude towards certain laws and civil rights. This transformation has left many traditionalists scared and fighting but most have been liberated due to the changes and are keen to allow them to continue. Mainly the rights for women and children have altered drastically. The change to female rights is almost immediately noticeable with the change of fashion.
Medical and scientific understanding has improved and the experimentation for artificial limb use and ‘upgrades’ to the physical being are becoming highly fashionable however extremely costly.

Whittlewell is the capital city of the British Empire and is on the cutting edge of the steam revolution. Its advances in air ship travel and compact innovations for steam capability are the envy of the world and have lead to the boon in wealth. However the gap between rich and poor is ever expanding.

The year is 1865 and you are invited to come and join us.

Plus 28 Days - Post DH HP End of World RPG

On October 31st, 1999, a group of eco-terrorists released a biological weapon at every major airport in the world. 48 hours later, the true nature of the weapon became clear. The infected became violent, infecting others through bites and scratches. 50 hours after the first contagion was released, governments across the globe initiated states of emergency. Sites were designated as shelters with troops and Aurors sent to protect those sites at all costs.

Radio broadcasts gave the locations of the Ministry of Magic and Buckingham Palace as 'safe spots' but they were really processing centers screening out the infected and sending the uninfected via the Floo network to hidden shelters. Those lucky enough to find shelter must now wait it out – the 28 long days for the infected to starve to death or kill each other in their madness. Then they will have the unenviable task of rebuilding society and the world.

Plus 28 Days is a Post DH HP-based RPG began on October 31st, 2009. We have a small, friendly, active core cast. Currently, our "most wanted" include Ron Weasley, George Weasley, Blaise Zabini, Hannah Abbott, Lavender Brown, Dean Thomas and Bill Weasley.

PREMISE

The country lies in ruin. After a nuclear holocaust meant to cleanse the land of the infection upon it, a Quarantine remains enforced by international powers. Trapped in their own burnt land, with none to aid them, what remains of the once majestic United States has been reduced to ash and blood. But even after the blast clears, and those brave few survivors emerge from their shelters, a horrific realization awaits: despite the bombs, despite the waste that has eaten the landscape, the infection has survived. Virulent and strong, it spreads viciously through the land again. Now, those left behind must run for their lives from these grasping creatures.

Two years after the creation of Compound One, the refugees find themselves in the midst of civil war. Threat of death from their fellow man now equals the infection. As the bounty on their heads grows higher with every passing day, those still trapped in the Compound struggle to achieve basic human rights under the new leadership regime. There are desperate attempts to move the imprisoned to freedom - even if safety is now impossible. And a core group of heroic survivors attempts to start life anew, under some semblance of civilization. But as the realities of life press down harder than ever before, these basic tenets of survival in New York have finally been accepted:

The Quarantine will never be lifted.

The refugees can never go home.

Seonadh Burn

Premise

SEONADH BURN(the mystic river) is a small wizarding village located in the Hebrides, tucked safely away from almost all civilization, wizarding or muggle. For generations the islands have been inhabited primarily by the MacFusty Clan whose family charge is looking after the dragons that call the islands home. It's isolation has come with some significant perks- they were almost entirely cut off from the war on the mainlands. To the MacFusty's, a family that preferred home-education to a Hogwarts one and never quite respected the Statue of Secrecy, the push and pull of political strife and blood purism never touched them. When the rest of the wizarding world was in shambles, Seonadh Burn was just as it always had been- peaceful and quiet.

However, with such a blessing comes responsibility too and it became clear that they couldn't continue to ignore the world at large any longer. Torn apart by the Second Wizarding War more than anything the people of Britain needed a place to escape, a place to call home that wasn't clouded with the memories of death and hatred. The village opened itself to the population, offering refuge and escape- a chance to start over without labels or history. There were those that came wanting to escape the death of loved ones, those that wanted to escape the significance of the tattoo on their arm, and those that came because they understood that others flocking meant business opportunities.

Seonadh Burn RPG is a Post-War, Canon Compliant, Non-Epilogue Compliant Harry Potter RPG set seven months after the Battle at Hogwarts. We are a character-focused game with player-driven plot. The game will explore the rebuilding of lives and the rediscovery of relationships in the wake of war. As a community we are seeking to bring back old school Harry Potter role-play as it once was and simply get back to the basics with characters we love and miss.

BOYS/MEN! We're not completely devoid but we could seriously use some more! RAVENCLAWS! Alicia Spinnet wants to see George Weasley, Oliver Wood, and Lee Jordan (Angelina and Katie probably wouldn't mind either!) While we're looking to throw a Charlie Weasley at Percy! Zacharias Smith is missing Ernie MacMillian, and Justin Finch-Fletchley! We are a RARE CHARACTER friendly game although you're welcome to play the more popular ones as well.
