Okay, Friends!

I know we got a little ambitious during our meeting. I'm getting ready for my day, and I just want to know what everyone thinks we should do first.

1- I know that Scotty and I volunteered to do the testing of the tents and the boxes. Have we ordered the things for that? Do we want to do that tonight? Because if the boxes and the tents work, and we think that the Solid-Snake-Effect works, then we can build sheds instead of platforms... otherwise it's back to plan one.

2- That being said, do we want to wait to go check out the other lodge or do we want to go ahead and do that this morning? I have never built before, but I have to imagine that we might need different things if we build shed structures vs a platform structure.


3- I forgot to mention it at the meeting, but has anyone else noticed the monster books around? I have sort of skimmed a few of them to see if I can match the monster pictures to the ones we have seen, but no luck yet. If you happen to see a new one, can you just leave them in a pile someone where. Maybe the living room space? It's probably just another thing to mess with us, but what if they are actually giving us some help?

Just you know... let me know, yeah? I like to sort of plan my day.

Well, only two people got back to me about having a meeting this morning, so since no one really planned for that, I'd like to instead have a meeting at 3pm this afternoon, in the living room of the lodge. Please plan your day so you can be there! Thank you! See you this afternoon!

Everybody! If you're reading this then at this point you should know that the house is not safe! I'm with Felix and Edwin, and we've decided to head towards the nature center because it seems like a spot that might be hard for those things to get to? So if you're reading this, if you can, come meet us over there! I'll update when we actually get there, and we'll let you know if it's even possible to get in there tonight, but it's what our plan is for now and I think it's a pretty good one.

If you can't get over there, please check in anyway! I know that the GPS isn't working, but maybe we can use the network to keep track of where the monsters are. I may not reply right away because I'm trying to conserve phone battery but also keep everyone connected. So please check in! Let me know if you've found anyone else!

Guys, don't judge me too hard with some of the food items I'm getting with this voucher. A lot of it isn't going to be top quality or what I'd normally use, but he need some new flavor profiles up in here that we're going to be able to use long-term, which means using some dried, imitation stuff too.

I'm going to get some real bacon and sausage though so we can do up at least one or two real breakfasts or something. We deserve that much.

Anybody have any special requests on stuff they'd like to have around? I'll do my best.

Before I lean too hard into the list, how do people feel about better options for chicken wings (got honey bbq, buffalo, teriyaki, and lemon pepper all making OFFICIAL entries instead of that half-assed crap we were doing before), asian style fried fish and chicken, chicken miso ramen, and fried rice? We're still obviously working with limitations so we won't have all of the fixings. I'm gonna try to sneak in some things to make some mayo-based chicken pasta salad now that it's getting warmer out.

Also actual bread and chocolate chip cookies.

Big thing is, the fridge and freezer are gonna be fuuuuull. We're going to need to be extra careful about making sure stuff gets back in where it belongs, because none of this is going to be replenishable. Once it's gone it's gone, so we've all gotta work together!

Hi everybody! So as part of my reward for being most likely to be a game show host, I got the chance to double one of the winner's prize money though a game of chance, and I got to do that for Chase, and so he gifted me some of his prize to me to get some stuff for the house!

So there are a few things that I know I'm going to get, and then I thought I'd open the rest up to suggestions! And then I'll figure out what sounds good out of those suggestions.

So here are the things I for sure want to get:
Coffee (everyone's going to be grumpy when we run out of the first batch!)
Tea (probably just a standard cheap black tea)
Catnip (for the cats, but can also be used for tea?)
A dartboard and darts (This could also just be one of those magnetic sets to save money)
Volleyball and net

And then VHS copies of:
The Wizard of Oz
Singin' in the Rain
Willow
Mary Poppins

I only have $250 to work with, but VHS tapes are probably pretty cheap? So what movies do you think we should get and what are they about? Tell me things! Or like if there are any little things we can get for entertainment other than board games, maybe throw those ideas at me too!

We're in the money, we're in the moneeeeey

Hey everybody! So, I won one of the paintball prizes (Thank GOD) and I want to put it towards D&D stuff, since a lot of what I got for Christmas had to be left back at the mansion. I'm in the process of setting up a campaign with Chase's help (Thank CHASE) so I wanted to ask once again: Who wants to play? Or just, who has a passing interest?

The plan is to do a sort of one-shot, just to see how people are feeling about playing and the rules and stuff, and then if people find they like it and they like their characters, the campaign can continue, but anyone who wasn't feeling it, or anyone who's making things miserable for other players, can have an out before continuing. A loose idea of the world that's being set up for this game is that our set of characters live in an underground society which owes itself to a specific deity (though I won't require anyone who wants to play any sort of cleric or anything to pray to them, it's just something important to their home) and they're coming up on the city's annual celebration honoring the deity, so characters will be taking part in [...] festivities and other occurrences. And this is all vague on purpose. And also that's just the plan for the one-shot.

So! Knowing that, I want to know who's interested in taking part! You don't need to jump in here with a plan or a full character, I'm happy to help anyone who needs help setting up a character, and I need to know about your characters before we start anyway. This is just a message to see who might want to play, and to alert people that I'm actually planning on getting this started soon. Finally.

My hope is that I can redeem my voucher to get everyone their own set of dice and mini, and maybe some paints so we have a bonus activity to do. And then other stuff that I'll be putting towards the game will be included in my purchase.

Does this sound fun to anyone? Who wants to play? Who has questions? Does anyone already have their heart set on playing specific races or classes? What are you thinking?

Is it just me or is there a more concentrated than usual amount of random crap? Knock on wood but I almost miss having to do the tests and obstacle courses. At least we know when we finish it that particular pain in the butt is OVER. Unless we're missing an off switch somewhere. Should be we trying to break into the locked rooms? It seems like all of this stuff ends up in there. Maybe this is just the world's worst "nudge nudge".

You know, I think I said a fully stocked Walmart last time, and I think I'm going to say it again this time. As long as it's relatively close to where we're staying. But maybe this time, I can specify that I want it stocked with what would be there in October, so I can get my Halloweenie stuff in there.

Tobias and I found a 7-eleven. the stuff in it is pretty old but there are some batteries and useful stuff we're going to grab. found one of the lanterns and were going to look for the other one.

there's food but it looks like it's probably expired. will check for anything good.

does anyone want us to grab anything specific if we can find it? gonna take the batteries, some plastic bags, and some lighters. there's also gas at the pumps and I think I saw cans we can out it in if we need it for anything.

think we're going to set up a lantern in here once we find the other one. building seems really sturdy and in good condition, just old. power is running.

Maybe I should have gone lantern hunting. Isolation is (apparently) not my thing at the moment.

I live in NY so I've seen some weird crap, but I don't really know how to quantify it all. I'd say the movie Gummo was hands down pretty friggin weird though. It was the most unexpected level of disturbing I think I've experienced, and for a while it just made me think of people differently in the most uncomfortable way possible. Don't watch it if you like cats. Or people. Or anything.
