[Before the Party -- Setting things up | While PM goes about her rounds~]

[It had been a long morning at the hospital, but he was thankful he was at least now able to move. He wore a colored and opaque shirt as to hide the bandages around his torso. After dropping his letter off at the Post Office, he rushed back to the house at Sector 3 and made sure the Peregrine Mendicanht did not see him carry a sizable box full of pastel-hued decor as he hid behind a building and waited until she left for her rounds -- it was time...]

[Party is a GO! | After PM's rounds~]

[As people arrived, Ribbons would be giving them brief instructions as to how they are to welcome the Parcel Mistress as she arrived -- and that is with a very hearty, "SURPRISE!"

No fancy speeches -- just cakes, sweet/meat pies, quiches, sandwiches, finger foods and cool drinks.]

(( OOC : Event-style post, so thread amongst yourselves~ ♥ Party's for everyone so even those who did not respond ic-ly to Ribbons' invitation post, come on over! :D ))

I think we should have a memorial service for Itachi.

He'd hate that.

Tonight on the beach. I'm not your social director so if you want stuff bring it.

[The sun has set and the stars are back in their appropriate positions following the astronomy class. The only thing people will find set up on the beach when they arrive is a bonfire.]

Good evening, esteemed members of the Defense Force! I have some great news! [And a big, goofy, way too pleased with himself grin to go along with it.]

As I was saying before, last night with the help of Kitty and Zack I was able to gather some data from the mysterious monsters that have been appearing -- they're not easy to get samples from, by the way! Uncooperative things. And so I made something that will be of the utmost use in helping us avoid attacks!

[He holds up a small metal box with a round speaker mounted in the middle, with two antennae sticking out. It's about the size of a walkie-talkie.]

Say hello to the newest and tiniest Komurin! Using a special frequency, it tells you when the monsters are close by with a static noise that gets louder with increased proximity.

[~*~GRIN!~*~ ...that fades a little.] But the bad news is, I only had materials to make about a dozen of them. So I thought we should decide how best to use them...

...Unless someone has an idea for picking up some spare parts?

[Gino's camped out in the evening at his desk, legs crossed and going over a few reports. The patrols and the school aren't doing so badly, but everything else is chaotic and unpredictable, and that's rarely good for fostering peace of mind or confidence, much less any form of stability.

[So he's pondering what little he can do in the relative privacy of the HQ where he lives.]

What sort of books does everyone like to read in their spare time?

[ it would be easier if he could arrange the meeting over the network. but he's not good enough with computers to keep Lelouch from overhearing and he's not looking for Lelouch to know about any of this until he's done all he can. so instead he checks out the public hubs, places he knows from a year of knowing Guilford are places the man would spend his time: the education center and the library are at the top of that short list.

at the library, he gets lucky, and -- after taking a deep breath -- approaches. ]

Sir Guilford.

Can we talk?

PM ♕ Prospitian Monarch
[Day 75: It had initially seemed like a very promising day for mail! Until, well, Q's package. With her minor back injury, it was a small slice of agony, forcing her to abandon her carefully-planned route to go straight to Gin's house first. The rest of her route is accomplished with relative ease, but the mail lady has markedly less enthusiasm than usual, and occasionally she can be spotted pausing to rub nervously at her back and scowl.]

    LETTER RECIPIENTS
  • Peregrine Mendicant: a letter from Ribbons.
  • Lavi: a letter from Allen.
  • Ushiro Jun: a letter from Jennifer.
  • Lacus: a letter from Euphemia.

    MASS MAILERS
  • Course Catalogues: to Elizabeth Middleford, Jun Ushiro, and Wolfram.
  • From Sakura: individualized thank-you cards to Lizzie Middleford, Jun Ushiro, Allen Walker, Kitty Pryde (aoa), Yuuki Kuran, and Neil Dylandy.

    PACKAGE RECIPIENTS
  • Gin: package from Q. A very, very, very heavy package from Q.
  • Saya: package from Diva.
--

[Fortunately, once she arrives back at the post office and sees what awaits her, she cheers right up again.]

[Sorry it's a little late, the day kind of vanished.; Mail submissions for Day 76 go here!]
