Hello. I am contacting you on the direction of Hauptmann Athos Hauville of the Order of the Silver Blades. It has come to the Church's attention that there is the possibility of a Holy Artifact being hidden away in a distant mountain range. You are being contacted because your skills may be useful in its retrieval. The mission to find this Artifact is likely to be a dangerous one, and so your joining the Blades on this task is entirely up to you. If you have questions, feel free to ask here.

I know lots of people have lost their homes and their shops and their livelihoods but there is something much more sinister about the orphanage being smashed to dust. Loads of these kids haven't ever had homes and only have known the orphanage, and now that's gone. I plan on donating personal funds and manpower to the cause of rebuilding the orphanage. In the meantime my mum has opened her inn's vacant rooms for orphans, either ones who were so before the [...] events or ones made orphans by it. If you see any children, or mothers with babes that need a place, just ask around for Magrat Miller.

And obviously there's ale there, too, if you need a different kind of balm for your hurts.

This is likely common knowledge at this point, but if anyone is in need of healing or supplies, the Grande Cathedral has opened its doors to the public and will remain so for the foreseeable future. If someone you know is in need of a warm meal, clothing, or a safe space to sleep, please send them in the direction of the Cathedral.

Additionally, a small section of the Necrohol has been damaged by this weekend's events. Any available Holy Knights or users of holy magic are requested to do some patrol if at all possible.

Personal matters first: I am very proud to have worked beside each of you during so difficult a time. This weekend you each proved yourselves to be unshakable and strong. Well done.

Business next: First, it is on the order of the Hauptmann that we all spend the next two days resting. I have been given specific instruction to ensure that the lot of you sleep, even if it means I must sit beside you and watch you do so. I will be very unhappy if I have to sit by any bedsides. As far as I can tell, the dormitories are still in order. If any of you have personal matters, see to them and then heal, sleep, and eat. We've plenty of work to pick up on once we've taken our time.

Second, no one is to publicly speak ill of the Mages Guild. I do not want to see any badmouthing from any of you on devices or hear about anything you've said.

After some deliberation with my superiors, we have decided that the next course of action is to investigate the sewers. I have included all who have had a hand in this problem thus far in this filter. I think it best that we split into two groups and be as thorough as possible.
