After the events of Sunday, I hope that many of you will be joining us at the Gala this Saturday evening. If you would like to attend, but do not feel you can find the means of doing so, I have pre-purchased twenty pairs of tickets. These will be handed out on a first come first serve basis.

Please don't forget to purchase your tickets to the Bards' Guild gala this weekend! You'll regret it if you miss it, believe me.

[Altair]

I'm sorry to have been so scarce, darling. I trust you talked those EKP people in circles? I must admit to a morbid sort of curiosity.

Incidentally, I believe you owe me a bottle of wine - the unpickable lock has been defeated at last as of this afternoon. It was an incredible pain in the Not as complex as it seems, once you work the trick out, but definitely tedious. Clever construction.

I would promise you dinner with your intolerable brothers anyway, but I've already been subjected to dinner with your intolerable friend, who can't control her temper and poured wine down my dress.

[Nate]

You're quite well after Sunday, I trust? I was too busy worrying about Aspel to I'd like to schedule installation of my lock sometime next week, if you're available - and possibly talk about that amplifier. It seems I really need it urge

[...] Also, out of sheer curiosity, if I gave you specifications for a custom lock pick, could you make it?

[Wil]

Do you know how
Would you teach me to

Are you busy next week, say, Wednesday, or is Merri eating up all your spare time?

[Aspel]

Are you feeling all
Is your head

Are you ready for your exile from society to come to an end? And more importantly, have you found a means of entertaining yourself, or are you?

[Drake]

I owe you dinner and could use some help with. Busy tonight?

[Bella]

Did I imagine it, or was the Sun in the air on Sunday? Are you well?

[Audrey]

I'm [...] thinking of going back to work next week. Do you think it's safe?

ABOUT THAT BENEFIT GALA...

[info]emillionnet
[If you thought it was cancelled in the wake of recent events, then you clearly don't know theatre! The show must go on, and with all the new damages in mind, the Bards Guild council has redoubled its efforts and expanded the program to near bursting.

Advertisements have gone out across all media today. Take a break this weekend, reward yourselves for doing a damn fine job defending the city.

And maybe gather up the balls to take the apple of your eye out on a date! Tickets are now two for 100g! The Bards Guild reminds you that the regular pricing is 55g pre-ordered and 60g at the door.]

[BARDS GUILD ANNOUNCEMENT.]

Citizens of Emillion,

The Bards Guild sends its most heartfelt sympathies to those who have been affected by the recent tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during these troubling times.

The Guild has spent the last week deliberating on how best to help the families and areas hit hardest by the events. In this regard, we humbly ask for your support. It is in times like these that we must prioritize our solidarity as a city.

Please be reminded of the following:
  • Donation boxes have been installed in all Bards Guild-operated theatres. Larger donations will be accepted at all ticket boxes. Donated gil and items will go to displaced families and the reconstruction of the Commoners and Tenements Districts, in cooperation with the Heartilly-Leonhart Constructing Company.
  • 15% of the past month's earnings from all Bards Guild-operated theatres will go to funding the relief efforts of various NGOs and charity foundations. For the coming week, all proceeds from 11:00am shows will be donated to the same efforts.
  • Warehouses 411 and 412 on Timber Avenue have been rented out for the next month to serve as relief shelters while repairs and reconstructions are ongoing.
  • For the coming week, the members of various companies and troupes have volunteered their time to do a search campaign throughout the city. Should you like to enlist their aid in locating missing family members and loved ones, do not hesitate to approach any member of the Bards Guild and they will direct your concerns to the proper authorities.
  • A team of machinists has also volunteered its time next week to attend to technical repairs free of charge. From Sunday to Saturday, the machinists will be going door to door in the Commoners and Tenements districts to assist however possible.

We also invite you to join us for a celebration of the arts 7:30pm next Saturday, June 29, at the Sphere. This benefit gala will feature performances from the likes of our own Feria Karras, Antonina Zhzhyonov of the Royal Kerwonian Ballet Company, the original cast of The Desperate Ones, and the Emillion Philharmonic Orchestra. A full list of performances will be released shortly. Tickets will be 55g in advance and 60g at the door. All proceeds will go to relief efforts.

The Bards Guild hopes for your kind cooperation and looks forward to making strides with you.

    Warmest regards,
    The Bards Guild Council
