With the new Founders Festival upon us, I expect that many of you are excited for what this new year our fine city's birth. While the Ivalician New Year has come, and gone, let us not forget that without this city we ourselves, would likely not be here as well. The joy with which we celebrate our city's founding, will hopefully be shared for its very creation as well.

I will look forward to seeing many of your smiling faces throughout the course of the festival, if it be for a simple greeting, or assistance with the scavenger hunt to obtain prizes of your own. I also hope that the fireworks display will be amply enjoyed, and openly offer my thanks for those involved with its continued tradition year after year.

As mentioned above the fireworks display will continue on this year. If you are able to assist, and have not signed up for it at this time, please assure that you do so post haste. Additionally, as the White Mage's are likely to be strung rather thin due to the high volume of accidents the idiots our comrades of the Fighter's Guild are likely to incur, along with the excitement of the mass populace causing extra injury, please assure to give them as much support as you can muster over the next week as they assuredly will be in need of it.

Considering your recent activity, and newly established status within the city, and guild, if available, I would encourage you all to take place during the parade to march beside myself and the councilors. Additionally, it may be of benefit to attempt to assemble an exhibition, or demonstration to showcase the skill, and power with which our newest members are capable of.

If you find yourself feeling unwell, please do make use of clinic visitation appropriately for assistance with the swift resolution of your current aliments. This is the season for prevalent cold and flu symptoms to arise. By taking care of yourselves, you assist in taking care of our city as a whole.

Good Day,

As there is assuredly to be an increase in the populace of citizenry visiting clinics due to the time of year, please do your best to assist in supporting the health, and well being of not only your brethren mages, but the citizens of the city in which we all reside as well. If you have White Magick spells within your spell casting repertoire I would encourage you to seek volunteer opportunities to alleviate some of the strain upon those who work in the clinics.

If appropriate documentation can be supplied for such services, the guild may be inclined to offer reward based compensation for time spent.

After review, I believe the reports from Ms. Min regarding the recent incident involving dark arts and a cultist sect provide a definite wisdom upon which we may look to invest further time and effort. While our current affairs have been mixed, and the views of the guild differing wildly from participate to participate, it would seem the time is upon us for consideration in the creation of magicks based response team.

While many of our guild, in the past, have been more than willing to lend their hands, I foresee if attacks and troubles continue in a similar matter that a proper plan of action and combative maneuvering will undoubtedly be required. It may appear our thousand years of peace are to be

Tomorrow, as some of you may be aware, a group of our finest mages have offered to set, and maintain - for the day - a section of palings around a stretch of the beach for the enjoyment of all who wish to partake in swimming or other beach based summer activities.

We hope this will assist in alleviating some of the recent tension that may have cropped up amongst the current populace, and please, do feel free to approach any paling recontructionist mage that may be available during the day if there are any questions, or concerns. You will be able to find them by the rich orange sashes they will be wearing throughout the day.

If you wish to assist the current group of volunteers report to the front desk of the first floor at 0900 tomorrow morning to obtain instruction, and appropriate identification sash if you will continue to help throughout the day. Currently, the greatest need is for more experienced mages to assist with the arrangement of the palings.

To the members of our guild who participated in the recent events, I applaud your efforts, and rest assured, that your actions shall not go unrewarded. Currently, I am reviewing what information has been presented to me regarding the happenings of that night and assessing all circumstances surrounding it.

Additionally, for those of you who may have [....] concerns regarding the publicity of this occurrence; If you are uncertain of the proper social potential ramifications of said events, perhaps voicing that to your fellow guildmates or mentors, before posting it to the entire city of Emillion, may be a wiser maneuver to consider in the future.

There are discussions in the works regarding increased magical assistance for patrols at the docks. If there is interest in taking on such duties, please convey this to me as we are in process of gauging current Mage availability for such shifts.

As always, when a part of the Mage’s Guild, we represent not only ourselves, but all associated with our long heritage of learning and traditions of excellence. There is a reason our tower soars far above the rest of Emillion.
