Intel has been dropping on my desk since Friday and then over on to the damn, but I'd like to give everyone an opportunity to get up to speed with what's happened. Those of you that were on the ground, I hope you've already turned in your full reports. If you've got valuable info, of course, now's the time to share it with each other.

Recent events, I believe, have spurred a great deal of initiative from all members of the guild, and I've been very proud of your individual efforts over the course of this past month. There have been some new changes in leadership however, the lesser details of which I won't comment on, but the short of it is this: Councilman Drake Liu and Councilwoman Aspel Cassul will be made available to field your daily questions and concerns for here on. They have both pledged themselves to be as diligent and responsive to future challenges as the Fighters Guild both needs and expects. There will be an open reception at Bahamut Hall this afternoon, as is typical in these events, and I do hope many of you can make it.

I appear to have attracted a bit of unwanted attention of a tailor that has been sent by a, between you and I, rather persistent noble who desires to see me prance about a stage in some atrocious garment. Please, do your best not to allow him into the shop when you stop by this week?

There's a lovely gentlemen that has been sent to spend time with me this week, a tailor, however, I fear I will not be capable of truly entertaining him as appropriate. Would you be able to assist? I would loath for him to be about with nothing to do.

It would appear that a large group is gathering in attempts to help fund the reconstruction of the docks. Could I perhaps persuade both you and Lucy to join in with a promise of any baked good of your choice?

It would seem some sort of auction shall be held to assist in the dock restoration fund. While I am uncertain if any of you would care to participate in the manner that is currently being advertised for, perhaps we can pool together our knowledge and come up with some other perfectly viable option that could be donated to such a good cause, no? I have no doubt that there could be some sort of baked goods, or services that could be provided if spell casting or the such? Gift baskets?

Would you happen to have any books that have been cluttering up shelves and you have been unable to rid yourself of?

There's a lot of rumors spreading around the guildhalls this week, but I want to personally make it clear that we're reevaluating the number of fighters currently stationed at and around the docks and making sure the area remains secure form here on. We're down six valuable, honorable men and women, with another dozen still in the infirmary. They each held their position at the gate, and we too will hold fast as the gatekeepers and guardians of Emillion and all of its territories.

Proper recognition to the guild members who answered the call of duty will be afforded in due time. There's also [...] a number of recommendations being sent in by some of our more outspoken members to be processed as well. Keep your heads up, people, there's more double shifts changes to your weekly duties on the horizon.

I am afraid I will not be able to venture off properly for a few days yet. If this is not cohesive with your current undertakings, I understand and will reschedule.

In conversation with several of my peers, the idea of an appreciation gathering between the guilds came to mind. I do not believe it would be overly difficult to invite the other guilds to a dinner at some point or even just a meeting with drinks or small games. Especially, after our most recent altercation at the docks with the valuable assistance that was offered by those associated with the mages and bards guilds respectively.
