He woke slowly, feeling warmer than he had in some time. He opened his eyes slowly, blinking against the harsh light of the sun shining through the window. Once his eyes adjusted, he took in his surroundings. The walls were wood, midway between light and dark burgundy in color. The furniture was made of the same, decorated in all different shades of brown. He lay back against the pillows, rubbing his eyes as he tried to recall how he came to be here. The only thing he could remember were bright green eyes and being cold. He ran his fingers through his hair, wincing when they came upon a large knot near the base of his skull.

Harry took a short nap like she had promised and upon noticing the time, groggily made her way to the Great Hall for dinner. Walking through the semi-dark dungeon corridors gave her a sense of peace and calm she'd never felt before. As she was about to climb the stairs, the quiet sounds of someone crying caught her attention. She followed the sound down a corridor that was barely used and came to a locked door. She tried the handle but the door wouldn't budge. She waved her wand, discovering an simple locking spell, and quickly removed it. She opened the door and saw a young girl, a first year from the looks of her, sitting on the floor.

"Hello." Harry stated. The girl looked up, quickly wiping her tears when she noticed Harry's Slytherin crest.

"Hi." the girl sniffled.

Draco walked into his home, more tired than he'd ever been in his life.

He thought working for the Ministry would be rewarding and exciting. But it was dull and tedious and left him with a migraine and the urge to quit on a daily basis.

It also made him question why he did it. What was there for him to make him suffer the tedium day in and day out?

He walked into his bedroom and stopped. He stared at the figure laying in his bed, a shaft of moonlight caressing the angles and planes of the body he'd come to love.

"Harry." he whispered. Harry shifted in his sleep, causing the sheet covering the lower half of his body to slide down his legs. Draco saw he was only wearing black briefs, and his shifting exposed one rounded buttock to Draco's hungry gaze.

Harry must have sensed him there for his eyes slowly opened, their sleepy green focusing on Draco immediately. He smiled and whispered Draco's name in a husky voice.

Draco melted. He took off his own clothes and joined his lover in bed, inhaling his scent. He kissed the chest beneath his chin as he felt Harry's hands caress his back.

This is why he did what he did. Because he had something to look forward to at the end of his day.

Discuss with Hermione whatever lies The Daily Prophet decided to print about him and watch her yell at Ron for not finishing his Transfiguration assignment.

But this day was about to become anything but typical. And it all started when Ravenclaw decided to start a food fight with the Slytherins.

Everyone watched this phenomenon occur, shocked that the Ravenclaws would dare such a thing. Even the teachers were stunned as food flew between the two houses.

Unseen by all, as distracted as they were, someone poured something into Harry's drink and mumbled a charm to activate the ingredients within before smoothly walking away.

McGonagall finally regained control, docking massive points from both Houses before breakfast resumed. Hermione noticed they didn't have much time to get to class and Harry drank down his juice in a rush and followed the rest of his classmates.

He didn't see the smirk that graced the face of the one who had doctored his juice.

He was unaware of the chaos that was about to visit his life.

Author's Note: I can't believe I'm starting another one and haven't even finished the other five I'm working on. But this demanded to be written as soon as possible. You may have seen this one before, I started working on it a few months ago before LiveJournal started going belly up. This was originally titled "When Love Is All We Need" and was set in the far past. But then I got the insane idea to write a space story, a la Star Wars and Spaceballs. This is me asking: What if George Lucas had written Harry Potter instead. Harry is my 'Han Solo' while Draco takes on the role of 'Princess Leia', only without the skimpy slave girl outfit and donuts on his ears.
