I may have threatened several too tightly clothed men who refused to stop touching me. At least I believe they were men. One may have been a very large woman. I never gave them permission. They acted surprised as though it was their right and I was insane. Their world makes little sense.

I am uncertain what it is I'm to do here. I thought I was brought for a war but it does not look like any war I am familiar with. I am not much of a warrior but I would like to explore this world.

Is it unsafe to do so?

I'm going to be late tonight. Got caught up in some paperwork and now I don't want to stop till I'm done. I can pick up dinner on my way home or you can go ahead and eat and I'll just grab some fast food or something.

If I ever witness the massacre that occurred in my kitchen tonight ever again, I may just faint. Stiles, you're on dish duty.

And yet somehow there's still stuff left over. Anyone want spaghetti and meatballs?

So who's in for Last Vegas tonight? 7:15 showing with pizza or drinks afterwards, depending on who's going. And I'll cover the ticket for anyone who wants to see it and can't afford it, plus at least three pizzas if we go that route.

I suppose on that note, and the fact that Lois just posted, I should introduce myself. Rose Tyler. I own and operate the non-profit Lawrence Youth Center, so if any of our new arrivals are between the ages of 12 and 17 and would like to participate, come by at any time.

I also do an Orientation for new arrivals. Our next class will be Tuesday evening and if you're new and need help figuring your way around this Apocalypse, come by. We'll go over all the basics to get you started and I'll give you what you need to know to get more than started-class schedules, options for employment, school information, and so on.
