Well, that party was nice. Nice to have fun and a break from the craziness once in a while. I'm glad that other stuff is over too. That bloke gives carnivals a bad name I had discovered something recently as well, one of my friends here. Merlin. Hadn't been able to contact him for a while now, so mostly like that the Seal had sent him back.

Oh! Might be looking forward to St. Patrick's time too, with the parades and stuff. And the wearing of green. Now there's a color I could get used to seeing everywhere. ;)

Merlin had given me something for my birthday, as those present at the time had seen. A book that he had composed himself. Mostly of his magic, magic in general, some cooking, and other things concerning magic that he observed, few personal thoughts on stuff, etc. I had made a spare copy of it. So if anyone would wish to view it, I don't mind sharing with any who may be interested. Oh, and maybe March could be a good time for some quidditch matches? Should be warm weather by then at least.

Hey, that food at Lydia's party was great! Really great stuff. I'm planning to go to the bakery soon to try other stuff too. Also, umm.. just wanted to let you know that if you ever wish to talk about stuff, I'm around. But you have family so it might be easier to cope with all the cra I know how this place can be. Been here almost a year and still don't quite feel used to the stuff that goes on sometimes.

Why am I getting calls and texts about massive shrubbery attacking the city? Did Poison Ivy come to town--see Connor I do pay attention when you talk comics! Is everything okay? Because our phone connections kind of suck out here.

And while playing hookie from the airline seemed like a good idea at the time--and admittedly that night was pretty damn satisfying--the airline lost our luggage. We got new clothes for the trip, but someone insists I don’t need another pair of shoes. It’s like he doesn’t even know me. One pair of hiking boots is not enough for a week.

Also, any comments about anyone waking up screaming because of a giant lizard crawling on sleeping bags is a giant lie and I feel I need to make that clear.

I stole the horses but when I went for lemonade they were gone. Horses don't like apartments.

Who can I talk to about faking credentials necessary to get a job in this place? I'm hoping to get my PI license so I can continue the work I did back home. If that's not possible, I was a medic in WWII have some medical experience I could use as another career option.
