I'm sure you've been aware of your mother Regina's capture by Dark. With the carnival being dealt with, I found her and I'm taking her back to the house we stay at. She's safe and unharmed but...difficult. I don't know what was done exactly but I believe her darker emotions were brought to the forefront.
