I went to see Bourne Legacy and really the only thing it has in common with the other Bourne movies is the spy aspect. It was still entertaining though to say the least, and now I feel like watching the others again.

I also really, really need a job. I just used my last 15 on that movie.

Someone asked why Superman wasn't in the Avengers movie and without looking up from what I was doing, I answered because Superman is DC and Avengers is Marvel.

I can't tell if I'm more disturbed that I knew this or that there is someone who pays less attention to comics than I do.

Being outspoken on issues that are important to me apparently hasn't changed despite the jump in time. Though things are certainly better here than they were in Paris in the 1830s, there are still homeless and hungry and sick who can't afford better. I may have ended up at one of those rallies for a gentleman running for office here in Kansas who happens to share many of my opinions on how to help those people. There were areas where we clashed heads, but he really does seem to have a solid idea on where this country is going and how to get there the right way.

In retrospect, I'm still surprised. But I do believe I've been offered a job.

For a while I was working as an office assistant - running errands, sorting mail, sometimes answering phones - and I showed up on time every day until a vampire showed up with a grudge against me. I skipped town. Then another vampire showed up and then a ghost... I just assumed I was fired for missing so much work even though I never got an official notice. What I wanted to know was if, when I get back from training camp, I’ll have a job. I’ll be willing to take a pay cut, if necessary.
