Well, it seems I can't even go on vacation without

I hate cases that involve children. Those are the ones where you see how dark people can be...

Seeing as there has been much discussion on the subject among others, I was wondering if we were planning to do something for this 'Thanksgiving'?

I know I swore I'd never work in a shop again. But they offered and who am I to turn down a good offer?

The antique shop where I found the dress from Halloween? Apparently, the owner's quite chatty. And impresses easily when you can shoot off facts from ancient Greece and Elizabethan England and France under Louis XIV's reign. Who knew?

So it's not just any old shop. The stories behind some of the items there are incredible. So I admit, I'm a little excited. And the fact that they were willing to take me without a lot of references was, admittedly, a bonus.

Anyone need a Victorian writing desk?

All right, Ben. The game is yours, under the condition you don't start running around trying to whack people upside the head with swords. I broke my controller. Stupid dragons eating me all the time Not even realistic, I'd kick a dragon ass if I had the Stupid

I should probably get back to bringing on my own personal doses of agonizing head pain anyway.

After Thanksgiving next week, I'm gonna talk to Bobby about starting up camp again. We'll probably take a break before and during Christmas, but I think at the very least we should start organizing groups again and get back to training.

(Winchesters)
I've been thinking. A lot. And I think we need to make a formal decision on minors being involved with camp.

I don't like the idea of gearing any of these kids up for war one bit, especially on account of what me and Dean went through growing up, but I guess that's their decision to make. I was trying so hard not to be like Dad that I didn't even realize that I was being like him by forcing some of these kids to do what they didn't wanna do. I wasn't making them train, but I was sure as hell not giving them a chance at doing what they wanted to do either.

This war isn't going to stop. I thought that keeping them out of the fight, but the truth is...it's not going to. At all.

I'm going to be keeping an eye on the complex for the next couple days. If the shooter from before tries to strike again, I'll catch anything coming our way long before they can get the chance to make a hit.

(Darcy)
You should probably avoid going out too much until we figure out who the shooter is.

First holiday season away from home really ever. Makes me miss it. It was really the only time I got to see my brothers. Does it snow here? Didn't get any in Santa Barbara. Might be kind of nice to have a white Christmas or thanksgiving like the old movies I guess.

It's like Heaven on Earth.

for Fayina

Outside of the Sergievsky residence is a gift perfectly wrapped in sparkly pink gift-wrap. There’s a note that says ‘Happy Birthday, Fayina - From Brittany’ stuck on it. The gift is a small pink music box with a ballerina that twirls around when you open it. It plays Once Upon a December.

Don't whack people with swords, the only lesson I learned today.

And teen shows suck. I flipped across this One Tree Hill show on TV and it's crap.

[Sam and Ruby]

So, do I have to call you my uncle and aunt now? And does this mean you can boss me around?

[Mary]

Hi? Did Dean my Dean talk to you?

[Dean]

This is weird. It's cool if I don't call you dad or anything right now, right?

filtered against evil and Arya

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
All these posts about that ridiculous video game and whacking people with swords has reminded me...is anyone especially good at teaching people how to use swords? The new girl who came through the seal a little while ago, Arya, was apparently learning in her reality. I told her I'd see if anyone around here could take over teaching her. It might be good for her, maybe it would make her less homesick and help her feel like she has control over something. A lightsaber is enough like a sword that I could maybe practice with her if I had a sword of my own, but not enough to make me a good teacher, if I wasn't already out of the running for that due to having pretty much zero experience with children.

So, is anyone up for that?
