spliffy: harry potter, next generation Under the warm sunshine, another summer is coming to a close and there are students eagerly (or not so eagerly) returning to Hogwarts; the girls are loitering, the boys are ogling, and the gossip is lingering, as is always the case in a group of teenagers. Love faces off with sex, grades face off with parties, and truth faces off with falsities in the everyday drama at Hogwarts. However, since the Battle of Hogwarts, the Ministry of Magic has been slowly working on new protective measures to prevent such an event from ever threatening Great Britain's schools again. As years have passed, new restrictive spells have been cast on the grounds of Hogwarts. At the beginning of this school year, under the decree of Kingsley Shacklebolt, a radically developed charm will be cast over the entire grounds as a means to prevent the approach of evil spirits of any sort. Unbeknownst to the returning students and staff, however, this spell has a glaring flaw which has not yet been revealed; it cuts off all contact with the outside world. As students and teachers are separated from their parents, their families and the rest of Great Britain, what will they do to cope? Can they band together in support, or will they attack one another in bouts of cabin fever? Though all faculty members are hard at work to find a counter-spell, it may not come fast enough to save some friendships, relationships, or even lives. Oh, and there's spliff. |

one2ndchance is a post war, AU game set in 2001. The war happened five years ago and everything is finally rebuilt and back to normal. Minister Ponter and his anti-Pureblood ways are out and Ministress Whirlington is in. Unfortunately it looks like a small group of Death Eaters have been trying to distrupt the peace and calm that has been restored. But in between the negatives everyone is trying to simply live their lives. Proposals have been made, friendships have been broken, and despite everything life is continuing on. We are an active, fun and friendly game and despite the fact that we have been around for a long time, we are always willing to work with characters back stories. We are accepting applications for all open characters, but we are specifically looking for Hufflepuffs, Ravenclaws, Weasleys and male characters. In 1875 the buildings that are known today as Ipwich Academy were erected and became an officially recognized magical institution. It wasn't until the 1900's and the war that raged on in Europe that the Academy finally opened it's doors to wizards as well as witches, along with allowing children from outside of North & South America. Ipwich is a Harry Potter-esque game set in Danvers, Massachusetts in the year 2009. It is an original game based on the world created by J.K. Rowling and has incorporated all the favorite aspects of Harry Potter with the leverage to find its own path in the choice of characters, blood, items, spells, and future destinations. | |

In the aftermath of the Second Wizarding War, the Malfoy family didn't have many options in the career world. With the money that was left, Lucius ventured into the stock market world and Draco, after much planning (and a little begging), opened Ame Noir, the wizarding world's first club in the heart of London. After three successful years and two more locations in France and Germany, Draco was ready to conquer America. Boston was the place to start. The city had a thriving magical community and lots of old world charm. Ame Noir Boston was opened in 2004 and has been the favourite of young witches and wizards for five years running. Ame Noir is an AU Harry Potter-based game set in present day Boston. All original characters with a player driven plot. Be a member of the staff or one of it's regular patrons, be anything you'd like. Ame is many unique lives connected by one bar. Opening soon, we'll save you a seat. |
