Rules
RULES

We have a three strike system. You will get a strike and a warning for each offense. At the third one, you are out of the RPG, no exceptions. This is not three times for each rule, this is combined. Please keep that in mind.

1. Keep personal problems to the wayside. This RPG is going to be a drama-llama in itself, we don’t need players going at each other, too. This means no flaming, no talking behind people’s backs, no catfights. Let’s keep all that in highschools where it belongs.

2. No Godmodding, please! As the game progresses, there might be strains that would make it easy. But seriously, don’t. It’s annoying, nobody likes it. This means no killing other characters, because once they’re gone, their gone. Ask if it’s okay before you injure or get too forward with a character.

In general, try to refrain from moving another player's character without permission. This is especially important in log format, because it is very easy to upset someone if you presume what they will and will not be okay with. It is my suggestion you always discuss a log before you begin it, so these things will be resolved.

3. When in doubt, ask a mod. Can my character get pregnant? Can my character die? Would ______ plot be okay? Give us a chance to sign off on these ideas before you introduce them to the RPG, please!

4. I read the rules, really! Okay. Then put some kind of harmony somewhere in your application.

5. Activity is important. If you are unable to be active, you shouldn’t apply. We require at least two entries a month, though you are welcome to make as many as you like. This RPG is geared toward interaction, especially the interaction made through comment threads. If you do not comment to others, you cannot expect people will comment on your entries in return. We also ask for at least three or four logs every two weeks. If you’re going to be away, please put a note in the OOC community.

6. This is AU, but not that AU. Meaning, nobody can fly, has magic powers, can defy gravity, ect. Also, there will only be one of each character. For example, there can’t be Young character, Old Character, Regular Character, and Character, only a different gender. You can do any of those things, but once that character is taken, they’re taken. Also, we are currently not accepting any original characters. There might be a time that we allow select original characters, but it's highly more likely to get a spot if you've already got a character, and have been very active.

7. This RPG is probably going to end up dark, not safe for kids or maybe even work. I’m not going to put an age cap on, cause I think they’re stupid. After all, if you really want in you’ll just say you’re that age anyway (I know I did). But be prepared for things this RPG is going to cover. Nobody is going to force you to do things you’re not ready for, fade to black is fine with us. But if you don’t think you can handle it, don’t apply.

8. Obey these rules, and the ones imposed by GJ. Because we don’t want the account to get frozen, plz. I believe this means no bestiality, and no child pron/abuse. Other than that, knock your socks off.

9. Try to write in a readable fashion. This means no l33t, use capital letters and punctuation when needed. Spellcheck entries before you submit them, perhaps. I know Firefox has spellcheck built in, so if it’s red underlined, fix it! I am hoping for quality players, so if all you like to do is smut and reply to logs with single sentences, this probably isn’t the place for you.

10. This is a high-literacy, writing intensive RPG. This is a high Literacy RPG, and we expect a lot of our players. If we accepted you, then we thought you were capable of this rule, so please be understanding. All log replies should be at least twelve sentences, which would be two small paragraphs. This is not hard to accomplish. Talk about what your character is doing, what they are thinking, what is happening around them, what they are observing, how they are feeling, what THEY are thinking, what the person they are interacting with is doing, the possibilities are quite literally endless. So, please, try and respect this rule to the best of your ability. We will give you a warning if your replies are too short, and after two strikes, you are out.

No exceptions.

From 4/1/09 on, you will get three strikes on this rule. If you ignore all of our warnings, you will be asked to leave the RPG.

11. Don't join the community, add friends, or try to start playing until your application has been accepted. It is rude and presumptuous to do so, and if you were to do so, we will reject your application automatically.

No exceptions.

12. Please don't use any NC-17 icons. This may seem restrictive, but some of us access the RPG from work, and could get in serious trouble from having dirty stuff found in our history (even if it is just an image). This is why we tag our smutty threads, and unfortunately, why we had to cut out the hard-core stuff. No nip, tip, or cl-- you know, I'm not gonna go there. If you aren't sure, ask a mod. But Katy is a prude, so ask Ilene.

13. Please comment on entries marked with the tag, 'mod post'. This is so we know that you have read whatever is in the said entry and therefore are up-to-date with the goings on in the RPG. It's not hard to type 'ok' and then hit 'submit comment' but if you feel like asking questions or complimenting the mods, that's totally cool. <3

14. Please remember to add tags to your log entries. We're adding tags to log entries to make it easier to look back and see what a character has been doing. I have made all the appropriate tags for characters. Also, I have opened tag creation to members, so if you would like to make a specific tag for your sls (James/Lisa, Kaiba Bros., non-con (we already have an nc-17 tag, PLEASE USE IT FROM NOW ON) ect), you are more than welcome. Try not to make redundant tags, for example, 'gabriel gray' AND 'gabriel' AND 'gabriel 'sylar' gray' and whatever else you might think to tack on there. Try not to make new tags that don't need to be made -- your character already has one, so don't worry about making one. I will be gradually adding tags to backdated entries, so don't worry about trying to go back and retag your old logs. This has been added to the Rules accordingly.

15. Don't forget the proper formatting to your log entries! Just copy and paste this information and fill it out accordingly:
