About Us Mysteria is an original rp set in the supernatural/paranormal genre. We are a game with original characters in an original setting. We are character development focused with character and group plots encouraged. Major plot lines that will affect the game as a whole are given by the mods and all characters are welcome to get involved. We are looking for players that are looking to have fun while developing their characters and plots with others. Supernatural and human characters alike are needed. Characters of all ages are welcome, but players must be of 18 years of age due to violence and mature content that may occur. What we have to offer: friendly mods who are there for you and keep you informed; character development and plots; game and group wide plots; characters from every age range; friendly and awesome rpers who are always up for a storyline; no weekly adds, once you're approved we get you added so you don't have to wait to get started!

The Plot - Cannon through Deathly Hallows

It is August 20, 1998. The dark lord has been destroyed by Harry Potter and the wizarding world rejoiced. The end of the war brought change to the wizarding world, mostly for the better. People, especially muggle borns, no longer live in fear. The ministry has been thoroughly cleaned and is up and running, making themselves ready for elections in the spring.

The death eaters have been rounded up and some sent to prison but others who claimed to be Imperiused or coerced into service have been released with a pardon and a show of goodwill towards all men. Rodolphus Lestrange at the loss of his wife, claimed the imperius curse and is now working to serve the ministry to prove what he can do for society. He stepped into the political arena speaking for the unity of the wizarding world and has become quite popular with his show of intellect and concern for its well-being. Things are not always as they seem. Now that he has won the title of Minister of Magic, changes are coming.

After the final battle of Hogwarts, many parents complained to the Ministry Department of Education. Their children did not graduate, nor did they complete exams or get a proper education. There was talk of boycotting the school, forcing it to close. The ministry, and new headmistress, Minerva McGonagal, came up with a plan. They would offer an 8th year to those who should have finished to see that they could get a proper year of schooling and complete everything they needed to. They would have extra liberties as they would be of age as well. Most parents responded favorably and have agreed to send their children to finish the year properly. For those who could not attend, it is also their chance to make up for what they had lost, welcomed back with open arms and an apology from the school and the ministry.

Everything seems to be going well, but good and evil do go hand in hand and there are forces at work both at Hogwarts and in the Ministry as the dark side tries to reclaim power over the wizarding world. It is often difficult to see who is on what side, but the dark lord's fellowship is alive and well, building up enough momentum until they can rise again.

Scientist Robert Hills went to the ends of the Earth. Having lost his wife to a vampire in 1896, Hills embarked on a mission to find a weakness in the race. He discovered a whole lot more. Appalled by the underworld he had uncovered, Hills fled to America where he founded The Guild - a secret organisation held in the heart of Maine. For years he worked on building its foundations, testing his theories on various genetic and scientific advances. We're looking for mature writers who want to develop character and plot rather than ship and playfight. GAME BEGINS 11TH JULY.

CLUE: The Game is an online RPG in the spirit of the boardgame, Clue, and who-dunnit style dinner parties. Every round is different, with a new murdered host in a new scenario. A college senior mysteriously dies during Spring Break in St. Bart's, a Nintendo CEO is killed hosting a weekend retreat at his Napa Valley home, residents of a colonial town in 1776 are made to stay within a mile of their homes after a British general has been murdered; the options are endless, the result is never the same. Players can choose their perspective: they may know only what their character knows and keep the suspense going, or may read along with the whole game to watch everything unfold. The mystery will remain a mystery exactly as long as you want it to, with clues, conversations, and confrontations building up until your Inspector has solved the crime. CLUE is a fast-paced game with lots of interaction, intrigue, and character development; thusly we do not recommend it for players who are looking for a beginner game.

Formed in response to occult aspects of the Whitechapel murders, these 'Royal Inquisitors' are tasked with the containment or elimination of supernatural threats to the interests of the British Empire. These crusading guardians are invested with the authority to root out occult elements that could corrupt society. Regarded with respect and fear by the few who know of them, the Royal Inquisition is a highly secretive order, dedicated to upholding civilisation against dark, primordial forces, by any means necessary. Unlike knights of old, they have access to the most radical technological advances of the era: In an age of exploring the unknown, with revolutionary science clashing against religion, Royal Inquisitors not only hold the front line against supernatural dangers, but see themselves as agents of purification, bringing light to shadow and eliminating the preternatural.

In this quest, concessions must be made. The Royal Inquisitors make deals with those touched by the otherworldly... People with such abilities as speaking with the dead. We all know the story of the night Sirius Black died: Harry was tricked into getting his prophecy, it broke, lots of other things broke, people fought, and Sirius died. But what would have happened if Voldemort was obsessed with time turners, instead of prophecy? What if Voldemort was told the prophecy upon his return to a physical body, and decided to try and stop Harry Potter from ever being born? Killing Lily Evans on the morning of her wedding was the perfect end to Voldemort’s fight with Harry Potter and that pesky mudblood. Now, Voldemort has lived as an uncontested power for well over ten years: sitting on the throne of the English Wizarding world, the Death Eaters are at the top of wizarding society, and in 1982 muggle borns are banned from Hogwarts. Some teachers leave to follow Albus Dumbledore and the Order into hiding, while others stay to teach the next generation of intelligent, well breed wizards and witches. In 1986, something new happens- children all over Britain are suddenly absent from bed, or found dead without any medical reason behind the death. The Order soon finds that the children are all future witches and wizards with muggle parents, and Voldemort has been slowly killing them to cleanse the magical world from the start. Now as that magical spark begins to grow in every muggle born child, it’s a race between Order member and Death Eater for the child’s life. If the Death Eater finds the child first, they will die. Axis City is a bustling metropolis, populated by all kinds of people. Even those who can fly. Untested technology and scientific misadventure has gifted people with powers beyond their wildest imagination, and the city is in the grips of a crime wave unlike any other it has ever known. The police battle desperately with criminals they can’t contain and Super Heroes are mistrusted and feared for the damage they cause. Mayor Harlan Mendyk faces an unpalatable decision- to pass legislation to register all those with powers or allow them to keep their secret identities and risk being hounded out of office. City Hall splintered; Police Chief Simone Weaver thinks that the Supers can be used in the fight for Justice, DA Dylan Stone thinks they are vigilantes. Axis City is a city divided. The only person benefiting is corrupt business man Alexander Moretti. His influence spans every strata of Axis society and as the final debate nears he plans to be sitting on the top of the pile.
