Premise

In the aftermath of the Snow Queen's spell, portals were opened up all over Storybrooke bringing in people from realms far and wide - across all universes (even the alternate ones). In a desperate attempt to protect the world at large from the influx of these newcomers, Regina sealed off Storybrooke permanently, making it impossible for anyone to leave the magical town.

I need to address this because neither I nor Regina can control everything that happens here. We hear you, we take it seriously, I promise. But even we can miss stuff. We have a lot of ongoing cases but to be perfectly honest, the sheriff's department is overwhelmed. I hired a new deputy this morning, but that won't be enough.

We can't control who comes in here or when, but we can be ready for anything. Together. Like it or not, Storybrooke is your town too right now. The only way to keep everyone safe is to do it together.

I'm not saying that everyone should go all vigilante, not at all. But we are more than willing to help, and not too proud to ask for it ourselves. If we're going to keep this town safe, we need to be united. We need a plan. Regular patrols. We need teams monitoring the network for suspicious activity.

I love this town, and I have vowed to protect it to the best of my abilities. And that includes all of you, because you're all Storybrookers now.

But if the fighting and finger pointing continues, then we're doing the villains work for them.

We need to unite and commit to doing whatever we can to keep this place safe.

You see something going on, or even think something is suspicious report it immediately. I'd rather find out that it's some cat stuck in a tree than find a body of yet another innocent person. No one should die here, regardless of if they come back or not.

The violence and terror in Storybrooke needs to end, but that can only happen if everyone pitches in.

What do you say, Storybrooke...will you fight for your town, your home, as long as you're here?

Things are just too quiet here for me.

I'm not use to living like this.

Magic? Really. They say magic brought me here. I remember the purple mist but I thought it was a side effect of some new drug compound. Almost believed in the supernatural once but turned out to be fake. I can't seem to find my partner Bobby Sixkiller.

Any records of the former marshal Dutch Dixon around? I was close to his trail, so close. I'm a bounty hunter. Also any records of a Buzzy Burrell being murdered. Or of Reno Raines? Need to test a theory Not only that but my bike is gone! You just don't mess with a man's wheels, son. That isn't cool at all.
