I just got over this horrible plague--thank the gods for Will and his talent with healing--and now I really need to help my dad, please let me go back home.

The woods here aren't like the ones in Beacon Hills. It's just something I'm going to have to get used to if I decide I'm going to go in them. I don't know what I'm doing in them when it's so cold out anyway.

My martial arts classes are going pretty well. Zack's been helping me if I can't do a class one day, it's really helpful. But honestly, that's what best friends are for.

I think I'm going to get a dog, too. Might be nice to have one. Especially since the apartment gets quiet sometimes.

How do you get over someone you never actually even met?

I was betrothed to someone, we were supposed to be bound married on my 18th birthday, but my brother is from the future and he told me that my fiancè stands me up and now he's here and it's all I can think about... how he doesn't want me and I'm not good enough for him to even try to get to know me.

My brother's best friend apparently likes me, but I haven't really gotten to a place where I feel like I can really... try to see how I feel about him without feeling like I'm projecting the need to be wanted on him.
