Redux: an AU Harry Potter RPG

Hello everyone - I am not going to say alot here above the cut. Just a warning that what is below is long and it's been simmering for awhile. It's me explaining in detail why I haven't been able to be in chat and why I have been struggling of late. It's also explaining why I am still on the mod team with Erin M and exactly why I was hoping I wouldn't have to get this personal in my explanation. Hey everyone! I am sorry I have been a bit AWOL of late - I hit a bit of a wall mentally and everyone in my head sort of went silent and it wasn't pretty. And I am so sorry to everyone that it just sort of happened and then this past week or so I have used my son's insane schedule to sort of (hopefully) allow them to reset and recharge.

But hey - his Boy Scout troop delivered and spread over ten thousand bags of mulch in about two and a half days. So they were rock stars.

So Millicent, Marcus, Lavender, Viktor and Sirius will be showing up again - I just wanted to say sorry for vanishing for a bit.

Hello everyone! It's Meg with my fifth. Meet Viktor Krum.

A few facts about Viktor

1. He is not fond of being called a 'Bon-Bon'. He finds it a bit creepy.

2. Yes he still plays Quidditch. Yes he is on the Bulgarian National Team. Yes he still plays Seeker and no he isn't planning on retiring yet.

3. He was the Durmstrang Champion. He is proud of his school and his friends he made there. However due to his professional career he didn't get to spend as much time there as he would have liked in the last years.

4. His parents (mother is a politican and father is a business man/real estate developer) tend to use his fame. As have other family members. As a result he has a high sensitivity to that.

5. His English is great in written form - still kinda crappy in spoken.

6. He wants to be wanted for who he is - and not by a broom bunny. But until he finds The One - the broom bunnies can be fun.

7. He is a silent parther in clubs/businesses in both Bulgaria and England. He wants a safety net in case he gets injured in a game.


He needs friends, teammates, enemies, ex's, and is a bit in love with being in love.

Hello all - I am Meg - and I have a problem... Wait, that's the wrong intro. I have my fourth (and final for now) character in Miss Lavender Brown.

Lavender is not entirely different from canon. She loves gossip, clothes and boys. She is passionate about divination and friends and life. She smiles more than she frowns and she did REALLY call Ron Weasley 'WonWon' for like a week. But so HELP you if you bring that up - EVER.

They dated, it ended. She moved on.

She works in a clothing shop that specializes in Muggle styled clothes and does her own designs on the side. She lives with Pavarti and has a great time trying to not come face to face with Ron. Because of reasons.

She needs friends, enemies, exes, - ALL the plots.

Okay all, here I am again. Meg, with my third peep.

Meet Marcus Flint. Captain and Chaser for the Falmouth Falcons and the Irish National Team. He is enjoying his time on the Pitch. He lives and breathes Quidditch. Because what else is there in life? Other than witches and drinking and more Quidditch?

He is still Marcus Flint - he has grown into his own, some of his edges have softened but more have sprung up. He has commitment issues, snarks more than he should and is loud and passionate. But be careful - he is still Slytherin and if you push too hard or far he will get his revenge.

He needs friends, exes, frienemies, friends with benefits, teammates, rivals....ALL THE THINGS AND PLOTS!!!

*makes grabby hands*

Okay everyone! It's Meg again with character number two. Meet Millicent Bulstrode. She is just back from Spain. Well, she's been back - but it feels like it wasn't that long agao. She is certified in standard and experimental potions, brews at Slugs and Jiggers, and freelances with several other potioneers with the Ministry to help with potions related issues. If you remember her as being snarky, elitist and slightly bitchy from school....that hasn't changed. She is not the warmest person in the world.

She has two older brothers, and her father. Her mother died unexpectedly at a young age and there were whispers her father was involved. So she really has NO love for the DMLE. At all.

Let's see, she lives alone with two cats in a townhouse and loves having the space to herself.

Also, if she is studying you while you are drinking or eating - and you see Slytherin's from her time at school NOT eating or drinking - she has more than likely spiked your drink with something and is looking for the side effects.

Hello everyone! I am Meg and I am SO excited to play here with everyone! This is Sirius Black. Who is very happy to be alive, well, and driving people around the bend in all the very best of ways. A few things to know about Mr. Black...

He owns a bar and enjoys a few pints - but there is a difference between 'going out' and 'working' and he does know the difference even if it doesn't show.

He adores his siblings. He adores his friends - and their spawn. The rest of the people he is related to? The jury is still out on that. You can thank his mother for that.

He lives at 12 Grimmauld Place. It's in a state of almost constant renovation - to make the place HIS, to annoy his mother's portrait and to piss off Kreacher who drives Sirius nuts. He has tried to give him clothes, but the blasted Elf keeps dodging them.

He is a commitment-phobe. Sirius refuses to have the kind of relationship his parents had, and is worried it could happen. He is completely up front with witches, but there have been broken hearts. And he is sorry. Really he is.

He has no children - since he is no married - he feels it would be unfair to the child. He likes his friends' spawn and spoils them instead.

He needs friends, family, exes, current friends with benefits, enemies, customers.....bring on ALL THE PLOTS.
