Redux: an AU Harry Potter RPG

Welcome to the beginning of meme week, everyone. In less than a week the game will officially open and we can hardly wait! For those of you who do not know what meme week is, it is another way to encourage interaction between players who might not know one another very well and characters who would not normally interact.

Our meme today is 100 Questions.

Hello everyone! Please run the friends button. Ally adds Evan Potter. Marie adds Angelina Johnson. We also have two new players, Kaylie with Bethanie Dunstan and Lily with Neville Longbottom and Caradoc Dearborn.

Hello new friends! I am Lily and I bring you two characters (so far). A little about me, I am a librarian at an elementary school, so I keep the most normal human being hours. But for now I am on VACATION! SO I CAN STAY UP LATE. Because I'm an adult.

This here is Neville. He's still the most unlikely embodiment of Gryffindor you've ever met, but he has parents now! Neville is a sweet guy with the best intentions, but he can also snark it up if need be. He works for an Herbologist's shop because he super doesn't want to be the Boy Who Lived. He just wants to be Neville, please and thank you. He could certainly use friends. And enemies. He'll even take frenemies if you want. I'm down for whatever with him, so hit me up for plots!

Next is Caradoc Dearborn (serenata). He is a former Auror and Order Member who got his leg blown apart in the war. He now walks with a limp and is a recovering alcoholic. He is officially one year clean and is hoping to keep it up. He could use former Order and Auror buddies. He's not a fan of Death Eaters, but he'll talk with them too. Caradoc is an equal opportunity kind of guy and will give people the benefit of the doubt at first. He's got a bit of a moral gray area, so that could always make discussions interesting.

Good evening and belated festive wishes! I'm Kaylie, I'm new around here though I recognise some names from the contact page. I'm 28, living in London, working in the offices of Britain's favourite crossword magazine. I bring you Bethanie Dunstan.

In brief, she had a difficult childhood, wasn't hugely comfortable or popular between 1st and 4th year but was made a prefect in her 5th year which brought her out of her shell a little. Then she left school and had no idea what to do with her life so dropped off the map for a couple of years. She's been back being social (in her own way) for around 4 years now. She's made a lot of physical changes since school, dyed her hair and changed her wardrobe/makeup completely so some people might not recognise her at first glance. You can find the full story here.

I'd love some connections for her. I've stated in her app that most of her friends are younger, made while she was a prefect, so if anyone has a character in want of an older, wiser friend that would work out well. Also any other backstory / plot ideas I am total open to hearing.

Hola! I'm Ally (again) and I bring you Evan Potter! He is the youngest of the Potter children (by six minutes) and is wonderfully unconcerned by most things. Evan's at uni, studying magical architecture, and he also works part time in Sirius Black's pub (which I still don't know the name of). He lives with both of his siblings and is prone to getting bored easily. He's very clever but also a bit of a slacker in all ways but studying.
