We are to gather information, our cover will be signed off by Director Phan. As far as others know, the Sling is having an "official vacation".

You've heard the announcement from Vanya, and as it stands, unless the director wishes for us to intervene I do not intend for the Sling to go anywhere. The situation has too many variables that remain unknown, and regardless of circumstances the CL is not a ship to be underestimated — whether it is still piloted by fractions of the crew or new members.

Furthermore, there is plenty of work for us to do here. If you have not already done so, please get a quick medical check.

One good thing about a collapsed lung is short healing time. The doctor's releasing me in the next couple of days, provided that I mind the ribs, so I'll be back on the ship on fucking bedrest, at least. Obviously that means I won't be fixing things for a bit, but give me your work orders anyway if there are any and I'll see what can be done.

There's a bunch of officers up in ICU so I'm staying over at General for the time being. Don't know what the security set up is yet but someone should keep an eye on them. Since as you see, Colt is conscious and stable and subject to the mercies of Zwei's tender loving care.

Ain't gonna lie to you, like the director's post says pretty much, we're in a bad place right now. They went after some of our best and most important people, the ones who handle the business end of our operation and tell us when and where to be. But we have good people on our ship too. We'll get through this. And we'll be ready once we have a clearer direction. I have faith in each and every one of you to do their job. In the meantime though, we need to hunker down. Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open and contact me the instant something seems shady.
