Life changed in 1930 for every wizard and witch in London. Gellert Grindelwald killed Albus Dumbledore on a muggle street and rose to power. Nothing is like it should be. It wasn't long before Grindelwald extended his power to the muggle world as well as the magical world. Halfbloods, muggleborns, and even muggles live in fear. Breaking boundaries and rewriting old laws, he controlled everything he could see. Unhappy with just that, he stretched his power, spanning countries. The Class of the Chrysanthemum rose early against the dark dictator, only to be broken into factions when their leader, Cassiopeia Black, met her untimely death at the end of Grindelwald's wand. Still the Class of the Chrysanthemum fought on in factions, not knowing who to trust. It's war, but no one seems to know it. The game is set in 2001 currently. Grindelwald's is coming out publicly, eventually, with his relationship with Vlad Tepelus. The plot and arcs depend and focus on the reactions of the characters over Grindwald's decisions, his new leadership role and loyalty, and the actions he takes as a consequences that effects all. The plots also focus on relationships of current characters that unfold. Accepting canon characters, muggles, and [magical/muggle] original characters!

Pietro Maximoff: One of twins born to Erik Lensherr and his Rom wife Magda, Pietro sought his terrorist father out as a teen, eventually joining his Brotherhood of Mutants. The events of X2, however, rocked his faith in his father's vision, and he became a double agent, feeding information to the X-Men in an attempt to mitigate Magneto's extremes. When his cover was blown, he fled for his life to Xavier, cutting a deal with the US government to avoid imprisonment for his own terrorist actions. He reunited with his sister Wanda, but their relationship, always a rocky one, had further strain placed on it by her position with X-Force. Pietro became an X-Man in order to try and redeem some of his own actions, but it wasn't enough for him - never a people person - to make the connections he needed, and the speedster eventually took on a job as security consultant to the royal family of Attilan, old friends of his. Attilan is but a small island - will Pietro's notoriously short attention span find another avenue in the future?

X-Project is an X-Men movieverse RPG on Livejournal. Set after X2, we've been running since May 2003 and use a combination of in-character journals and email/IM logs. There's a number of settings for a range of play, whatever your preference, and while we accept new characters we strongly encourage people to adopt one of our orphans.
