The more things change, the more they stay the same. Prejudices still run high. Purebloods and Muggleborns tend toward a mutual distrust at best and outright hatred at worst. In response to the swinging pendulum, many Muggleborns and Halfbloods are forming their own political action group. They are making their voices heard and the cogs in the Ministry have begun their slow grind toward change. Yet, the dethroned will always rebel, and a new faction is on the horizon with its own agenda: preserve Pureblood Society at all costs. This is no Death Eater fan club, however, and many of those who would have followed the Dark Lord are not welcome. It's the Mafia versus The 99 Percent, where the political and social arenas will never be the same. Society is not built on honesty, but on millions of little lies that make life comfortable, polite. Now those innocent lies are threatened both by truths as well as vicious fabrications. Pureblood society is shaken, and there is a growing acceptance of Muggle culture. With the self-proclaimed guardians of Wizarding Culture heading towards disenfranchisement and a rising class of Muggle-raised activists coming into their own, what does the future hold?
